My family My name is Anne. I’ve got two little brothers, Gérard and Alain, so there are three children in my family – or maybe four – we’ve got a guinea pig called Guy! My dad’s a chef, and my mum’s a French teacher. We’re from France, but we live in the UK. I’m tall and my dad’s tall, and we’ve got green eyes, but my brothers and my mum are short, and they’ve got blue eyes. We’ve all got brown hair. My brothers go to school in the city centre, but my school is near our house. Mum teaches French at my school. School starts at 8.30 a.m., so we get up early, at 7 a.m. Dad goes to his restaurant every afternoon at 1 p.m., so he can get up late! He’s a vegetarian, and he cooks amazing curries and soups. He doesn’t cook at home – he wants to relax, so Mum always cooks. In the evenings after school, I often play computer games with my brothers. Mum usually reads a book. At the weekends, I sometimes go to the shopping centre with Mum. We’re into fashion, and there are some amazing shops – but they’re expensive, and we haven’t got much money, so we usually go to the market. We can get some really nice clothes there, and they’re cheap! |
