Banksy is the pseudonym of the infamous English underground graffiti artist, political activist and unidentified director. His real name is Robert or Robin Banks.

He was born on July 28, 1974, in Bristol, England. In the late nineties he began to practice graffiti. He remains anonymous and is hiding from the police. Gained popularity first in England and then around the world. With the growing popularity, Banksy's graffiti began to be cut off from the walls and sold.
