"Can money buy everything, even happiness?" / Чи можна за гроші придбати все, навіть щастя?

Money has become one of the main things in our modern life. Often people say that money can buy everything, even happiness. 
As for me, I don’t agree with this statement. I’m among the people who consider money to be not all-powerful means. Humanity, dignity, intelligence, kindness and happiness can’t be bought for money.
Of course, money has its advantages. Each of us uses it to live comfortably. Not having enough money would represent a serious problem for any person. If people have no money to satisfy their natural needs, they can’t be happy. Apart with advantages, money has numerous disadvantages.
First of all, money makes us greedy. Some people become crazy about it and lose their dignity hunting money. They don’t appreciate such important things as family, friendship, love and other feelings. Such people are not happy, and chiefly they spend their lives in loneliness. So, being even the richest man in the world does not mean you are the happiest person.
Unfortunately, nowadays accumulation of money has become one of the major goals in life of many people. They don’t understand that happiness is in simple things, which are around and so close to us.
In conclusion, I would like to say that money is needed for everyone to satisfy basic needs, but it never buys happiness. Such feelings we can find in lovely family, true friendship, boundless love. So, happiness comes from simple things that everyone can afford.
