Part 1. At home

Mum: -Hi, Alice! Oh, What are you doing, dear?
Alice: -I’m  very busy. I’m doing my homework. I’ve got a test tommorow.

Dad:-Oh, I see….
     By the way, honey, your birthday’s coming soon. What about a party?

Alice: -Yeah, great! Let’s have a big party!!!
Mum:-I can bake a birthday cake for you!

Dad:-And I can decorate our flat.

Mum:-And you can invite all your friends

Alice: -Thanks, Mum!!! Thanks, Dad! You’re the best!!!

Part 2 Phone conversation

Alice:Valik, Solia, Julia, Mery….OK
      Hi, Julia! It’s Alice!

Julia:-Nice to hear you, Alice!

Alice:Nice to hear you too! It’s my birthday on Friday. I will have a party/ Can you come?

Julia:Yes, of course!!! Thank you very much!for the invіtation!

Alice:And tell Valik, Solia, Rodia and Mary to come too! I’m waiting for you all!

Julia:Yeah, great! See you then!

Part 3. Choosing a Birthday present

Julia:Guys, Alice invites all of us to her birthday party on Friday!

Rodia: Yeah, cool!!! I like parties!!!

Valik:-But we’ve got a problem! What do we present her with?

Rodia:Alice likes English! Let’s buy her a big English dictionary!
Mary:-No, no, no….She likes books but…

 Alice likes reading books!!! She likes tales!!! She even writes her own ones!!! Let’s present her with a book of tales!!!

Rodia:English tales!!!

Mary:-OK)))

Part 4 At Alice’s house

Happy birthday to you…..  (singing a song)

Valik:Hi, Alice!!! Happy birthday to you!! We wish you all the best!!! Here is our present for you! Hope you’ll like it!

Alice: Oh, thank you so much! Oh, what’s this? Is it a book?

     Wow, it’s a book of English tales!!!! Great!!!!Thank you so much!!!

Mum:-Alice, you are happy to have such great friends in your life!

Dad:-And we are happy too!

Alice: Yes! I know that! It’s very cool to have true friends! Thank you all!!!
