Topic. Christmas Traditions
The aim of the lesson: to acquaint students with Christmas traditions and songs, cultural customs related to the holiday.
Objectives:
To encourage students:
- to enrich the vocabulary on the topic;
- to interact with other students and carry out better team work;
- to write a letter following the appropriate structure
- to acquire a tolerant attitude and interest towards different Christmas traditions.
Outcomes:
By the end of the lesson students will be able:
- to pronouns and write the vocabulary related to the topic correctly;
- to tell about Christmas traditions;
- to sing Christmas songs;
- to write a letter to Santa.

Who are the main characters both kids and adults are looking forward at Christmas? Sing the song to say hello to Santa, his reindeer and the snowman.
- Choose the picture of Santa or a reindeer or a snowman and join in three teams.
- Watch the video about the little snowman. Pay attention to the objects related to Christmas.

- Listen to the definitions, guess the words. Use the sets of letters to build the correct words.

- Listen and repeat the words (flashcards).

- Missing Flashcard.
Tell the students to close their eyes. Take away a flashcard and tell the students to open their eyes again. Ask "Which picture is missing?". Students have to shout out the missing flashcard.
- Listen and match the word to the picture (handouts). Then look at the screen and check.
