Мета уроку: - ознайомити учнів з новими власними назвами;

                      - практикувати учнів у вживанні власних назв в усному мовленні
                      - продовжувати формувати навички діалогічного мовлення;
                      - поглиблювати знання учнів про країну, мова якої вивчається;
                      - виховувати пізнавальний інтерес до життя людей в інших країнах

Обладнання: карта Великої Британії, тематичні картки, роздавальні картки

Тип уроку: урок засвоєння нових знань

Хід уроку

1.Привітання

           Good afternoon, dear boys and girls!
Let's sing the greeting song "Hello,how are you" .   Учні співають пісню хором.

2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

Today we are going to speak about  Great Britain. You'll know what parts it consists of, what are their names and capitals

Вчитель роздає учням картки зі словами пісні, записує на дошці нові слова і перекладає їх.

to bow- прогинатися, гнутися

Watch and listen to the song.
Sing the song in chorus.

 

4. Подання нового лексичного матеріалу

Вчитель читає назви країн, які входять до складу Обєднаного королівства та їхніх столиць і показує їх на карті.
Look at the map of Great Britain. Let's  read the names of its parts and their capitals

Now let's look at the flag of Great Britain. It is called The Union Jack, because it unites flags of all parts of the UK.

 

 British money is called pounds and the coins are pence

Make up a dialogue and act it out.

 

Ask your partner what country (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland) he/she would like to visit and why.

Ask your partner what the capital of this country is.

Use the word combinations: to visit new friends, to consist of, be situated.

              - практикувати у вживанні Present Perfect Tense;
              - розвивати навички аудіювання;
              - тренувати учнів у говорінні;
              - поглибити знання учнів про міста Європи;
              - виховувати інтерес до культури інших країн

Обладнання: відео "Pussy Cat", роздатковий матеріал, аудіододаток до підручника, вірш "The Beaches of Mexico"

1. Привітання. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку
  How do you do! Nice to see you, boys and girls!
   Today we are going to listen to the text about the countries of Europe and you'll learn the poem " The Beaches of Mexico"

2. Перевірка домашнього завдання

    Your hometask was to make a poster " Great Britain".
  Let's present your posters!

3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу
Listen to the song "Pussy Cat, where have you been?' and tell where the pussy have been.
 Sing the song in unisong.

 

4. Ознайомлення з новими власними назвами ( столиці Європи)

Look at the map of Europe and repeat the names of Europe capitals after me. ( One by one)

 

 

 

Have you ever been to Paris (London, Vienna, Rome)? 

                             Yes, I have. No, I haven't.

 

5) Мовленнєві вправи

Робота з роздатковим матеріалом.

In pairs say 3-4 sentences about your experience

Example: I have been to Lviv, but I haven't been to Kherson yet.

                I have been to Sofiyivka Park, but I haven't been to Khreshchatyk Street yet.

Listen to the poem and repeat it all together.

Teacher:Listen to the rhyme and read it after me, then all together

 

I want to go to Britain

I want to study in Eaton.

In Eaton modern college

I'll get a lot of knowledge.

In London I want to go,

So, English I must know.

 

Teacher: Have you ever heard about Eaton? It is a very prestigues and very old college in London for boys.

 

4. Ознайомлення з традиціями британців.

What is tradition? Let's look at the board and draw the mind-map.

 

 

Look at the pictures and photos and tell me what can you see.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Вчитель пояснює учням про традиції англійців, яким будинкам вони надають перевагу, чому полюбляють каміни, яку їжу вживають та про традиційний одяг охоронців королівського палацу.
