1. Begining
1.1. Greetings
Who: Class Skills: Listening/Speaking Time: 1 min.
(The teacher plays the song, the pupils watch video – song (Video 1). Teacher sings each line and asks the students to repeat. Then assign one line to a group of students, and each group sings their line to make the whole song. They repeat, varying which group gets different lines. Then they sing the whole song.)

Who: Individuals Skills: Reading Time: 2 min.
Ex.2 p.37 (WB): Draw or stick a photo of a person. Describe him. Write.
(Teacher asks some students to read their describtions of a person and to show their pictures from their workbooks)

Teacher suggests pupils to revise the colours using the “Colours song” (Video2). The next task for the pupils is to put question about colours, f.e. “What colour is it?” – “It's blue. His suit is blue. His jeans are black.”
2. The Main Part of the Lesson.
2.1. Lead-in

Teacher asks pupils to revise the vocabulary while playing a game. Their task is to put the clothes into the wardrobe. They should link the word on the wardrobe and the clothes (HO1),

2.2. Introduction of the topic
“Brainstorming”

Teacher asks pupils to answer the question: “What does a person need for life?”
Teacher announces the topic of the lesson “Clothes and Colours”
2.3. Presenting New Vocabulary.
Working on Pronunciation of New Vocabulary.
Who: Class Skills: Listening/ Reading/ Speaking Time: 4 min.
Students watch the video-song about clothing (Video 3) and then they listen to the audiotape of new vocabulary (Ex.1 p. 81 (PB)). Then students repeat the words, in such a way they train their pronunciation of new vocabulary.
The next task for them is to try to remember the clothes, in the order they appeared in the video and to put these clothes in alphabetic order. (HO2).
2.4. Listening to the dialogues. Vocabulary Work.
2.4.1. Pre-listening activity.

Students solve the crossword and remember new vocabulary.
2.4.2. While – listening activity.

Students listen to the dialogues of Ex.2 p. 81-82 (PB).
2.4.3. Post – listening activity. Work in Pairs.

Students’ task is to describe Bill. They should ask and answer some questions of Ex. 3 p. 82 (Look at Bill. Then ask and answer) (PB)

2.5. Grammar Review: Present Continuous Tense. Writing.
2.5.1. Pre-writing activity.

Teacher explains what is Present Continuous, how does it form and how do we use it.
2.5.2. Writing.
Who: Class Skills: Writing Time: 7 min.
Activity 1. Students look at the pictures and answer the question:” What are they doing?” using Present Continuous tense. They write their answers into their copybooks.

Students read and translate text of Ex. 4 p. 82 (PB).
2.6.3. Post – reading activity.
Who: Class Skills: Writing/ Reading Time: 3 min.
Students’ task is to write out only the true sentences.(Ex. 5 p. 83(PB)).
2.7. Listening. Vocabulary Game.
Who: Groups Skills: Listening Time: 3 min.
Playing a game. Students should split into two groups: the boys’ group and the
girls’ group. Each group will have the dolls and the clothes for them. They should listen to the teacher attentively, choose the correct clothes and put it on him/her.
The girl’s name is Meg and the boy’s name is Pete.
