British and Ukrainian holidays
The first holiday of the year is New Year. It is celebrated on the first of January. In February people have another holiday, St. Valentine’s Day. It is on the fourteenth day of the month. Women’s Day is a holiday on the eighth of March. In spring people also have one of the most important religious holidays – Easter. But this holiday doesn’t have a perfect date. One more spring holiday is May Day. It is celebrated on the first of May. On the twenty-fourth of August Ukrainian people have a national holiday – The Independence Day. In autumn English people have Halloween. They celebrate this holiday on the thirty-first of October. And the most favourite English holiday is Christmas. People celebrate it on the twenty-fith of December.
