   Today we are going to learn a new grammar tense PAST PERFECT TENSE, to do a lot of exercises to practice it. Now let’s start our lesson!

Let`s remember previous lesson – we read the text “A day with grandpa”, so write True or false

• The smell of tea woke Justine.- False
• His grandpa was cooking breakfast downstairs.-True
• Grandpa had hot chocolate and sandwiches for breakfast.-False
• Justine washed the dishes.-
• Grandpa swept the floor and then went upstairs.-
• Justine had a strange feeling of guilt and wished he had helped with the dishes.-

+ I had studied Italian before I moved to Rome. – Я вивчав італійську, перед тим як переїхати  в Рим.

The bus had just left when we got to the stop. – Автобус щойно відправився, коли ми прийшли на зупинку.

- Samantha hadn’t had time to explain her side of the story. – У Саманти не було часу розповідати її бачення цієї історії.

My friends hadn’t ever gone to France. – Мої друзі ніколи не їздили у Францію.

? Had the weather been nice in previous years? – Погода була хорошою в попередні роки?

Had you spoken to him before you met each other? – Ти розмовляла з ним перед тим як зустрітись?
