THE PLANET IN DANGER

One of the most serious problems in big cities is the quality of the air we breathe. Factories, power stations, and millions of cars release toxic fumes into the atmosphere. In some megacities, this creates a thick fog called smog, which is very dangerous for people’s lungs and health.

Another global issue is the rising temperature on Earth. This is caused by gases like carbon dioxide that trap heat in the atmosphere. Because of this, polar ice is melting, and the sea level is rising. Scientists call this phenomenon Global Warming or Climate Change.

Human activity destroys the natural habitats of many species. Forests are cut down to build houses or farms. As a result, tigers, pandas, and rhinos are becoming endangered. If we don’t protect them, they may become extinct forever.

However, it is not too late to save our home. We should follow the rule of "3 Rs": Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We can plant trees, use public transport instead of cars, and save energy by turning off the lights. Every small step matters.
