Конспект позакласного заходу з англійської мови

Назва заходу: «About Great Britain»

Форма: Брейн-ринг

Мета: виховувати та підтримувати у школярів мотивацію до оволодіння іноземною мовою; розширити знання учнів про культуру географічне положення країни, мова якої вивчається;  формувати лінгвокраїнознавчу компетенцію школярів, розвинути в учнів навички слухання та говоріння; розвинути в учнів логічне мислення та пам'ять.

Наочність: фотографії, мультимедійний проектор, матеріали для презентації та картинки, атрибути свят.

Контингент учасників: учні 5-9  класу

Тривалість: 1 год 30 хв.

Місце проведення: актовий зал.

 

Хід заходу

1. Етап підготовки

• підбір запитань до гри, які відповідають вивченій темі;
• підготовка сценарію брейн-ринга;
• розробка наочних матеріалів;
• вибір учасників - для участі відібрані учні 6-х класів, рівень знань яких відповідає рівню складності гри.

2. Сценарій проведення заходу:

 

Teacher: Good morning, dear pupils, our teams and guests! You are welcome to the intellectual English contest “Brain – ring”. The aim of our meeting is to show the students’ knowledge not only of English, but about the Literature and Geography as well, to widen the outlook and encourage students to speak. Our topic is About Great Britain. Now I’d like to introduce our jury to you…

 

Teacher: Today 3 teams take part in our competition: the first team is represented by pupils of the form:  5, 9  . Let’s greet them (team names itself and tells their slogan).

Teacher: The second team is the pupils of form:  6,8    . They are … (team names itself and tells their slogan).

Teacher: The third team is the pupils of form: 7 . They are … (team names itself and tells their slogan).

 

Round 1

Teacher: The first contest is “How much do you know about Great Britain”. You have to answer the questions. For every right answer you will get 1 point to your score.

Each team should choose the topic of question from the screen.

Round 2

Teacher: The second contest is to draw the flags. You will be draw the flags each part of   Union flag (is a national flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. You have 2 minutes for it.

Teacher: Now, let listen to the song. Teams, your task is to put  the words in the correct order. We will hear it for 2 times, be attentive, please.
