By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

-recognise and name common places in a town (a mall, a museum, a market, a library);

-understand the main idea and specific information in a short text about places in a town;

-use the structure “You can…” to talk about activities in different places;

-ask and answer simple questions about what people can do in a town (e.g. Where can I buy apples?);

-work collaboratively in pairs and groups to complete communicative tasks;

-express their own ideas about their town using simple sentences.
