Хід уроку

I. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу (Introduction)

• Greeting: Standard teacher-student greeting and "How are you?" check.
• City Tour: Students look at the photos of New York, Rome, Paris, and Madrid. They name the countries and any famous facts they know about these places.
• Opposites Warm-up: Teacher says an adjective (e.g., tall), and students respond with the opposite (short).

1. Vocabulary Presentation & Practice (Подання нового матеріалу):

• Visual Association: Students look at the illustrations of the "handsome man" and "beautiful woman." They repeat the words after the audio to practice pronunciation.

• Peer Description: Students use the new adjectives to describe their partner’s hair or height.

• Global Listening: Students listen to the dialogue between Wendy, Cindy, and others to understand the general situation (a surprise message from a genie).
• Role-play Reading: Students are divided into roles (Wendy, Lin, Oscar, etc.) to read the comic strip aloud, practicing natural intonation.
• "True or False" activity: Teacher makes statements about the text (e.g., "Manuel is 15 years old"), and students correct them based on the dialogue.

• Data Search: Students look through the text to find and write down all the adjectives used to describe Manuel.
