Мета: - створити умови для розвитку навичок читання і усного мовлення;

-         розвивати мовну здогадку;

-         виховувати інтерес та повагу до традицій англомовних країн;

 

Обладнання: малюнки, цукерки, символи свят, mind-map

Group work     3. Робота в групах. Монологічне мовлення

                          Now, choose a card with a symbol of a holiday, discuss in groups and then speak

                          about tradition.

Symbols: heart, eggs, pumpkin, angel

Traditions: St. Valentine’s Day,  Easter, Halloween, Christmas

Speaking          4. Усне мовлення за темою уроку.

                      Speak about the tradition you have but don’t mention its name. Other groups have to

                       guess what tradition you are speaking about.

                       And you also will do some activities connected with your traditions.

Activities:  St. Valentine’s day – scrambled valentine poems

                  Easter – read the message on Easter eggs

                  Halloween – a game “ Trick or treat” ( учні вигадують собі костюм і говорять Trick

                  or treat учителю, вчитель дарує цукерки)

                  Christmas – decorate the New Year Tree with words
