I. INTRODUCTION
1. Greetings and aim
T: Dear students! I’m glad to see you again and as you understand, today we’re going to talk about ‘Sport in our life’. To begin with let’s listen to some sayings of our students about sport. They are taken from your creative works ‘My attitude to sport’. So, listen to them and try to choose whose lines you like the best and why?
2. Warming-up
S1: Go in for sport, don’t be lazy!
Sport is fun, it’s very amazing!
Hurry up, don’t be late!
Going in for sport is really great!
S2: Swimming and cycling,
Jogging in the park-
Set up a new sport,
I wish you good luck!
S3: To do a sport isn’t very easy,
Some people say that they are always busy.
But stop for a moment,
Think about the matter!
You aren’t a “coach potato”
Make your life better!
S4: Tennis is my favourite sport.
I feel unforgettable
When I am in the court.
I really love here every action,
It trains my brain and good reaction.
(After reciting the poems the process of discussion begins).
T: And now I want you to express your opinion about the poems. Explain your choice. Give clear reasons.
Possible answers:
S1: I liked all the poems but most of all the lines about tennis. It seems that S4 has been going in for tennis for a long time and it’s great. He enjoys playing tennis, he shows his emotions. I think the poem is really good!
S2: The poems are beautiful. I can hardly believe how professionally they are written! I vote for S3 because the lines ‘Make your life better’ show the main goal of sport: if you do sport, you’re healthy and happy!
S3: My choice is S4.The poem really makes me set up tennis. He’s very convincing and I guess that he likes tennis very much. Although other students were good as well, in my opinion, this poem is the best!
S4: To my mind, S1 wrote a very good poem because she wants everybody not to be lazy and keep fit, besides I know that she goes running and swimming.
T: Thank you for good answers. Personally I think, sports helps us be healthy, cheerful and influences our body and mind greatly! And now it’s the time to revise to revise the words on the topic.

Group work
Agree or disagree
‘Individual sports develop the individual more than team games’
T: Problem questions are always very interesting .You can’t give a simple answer “Yes or No”. You must think about the situation and give your own point of view.
Do you agree or not? What are your reasons, why? Now let’s divide into groups and discus the question.
Possible answers:
G1: We think that it depends on a person. For some people who are not afraid of responsibilities, who are strong leaders, it’s better to go in for individual sport; for others it is more important to work in a team. They need support, they are sociable and in such conditions they can develop better. So, you have to know the person and his ambitions to make the final conclusion.
G 2: Personally we believe that individual sports develop the individual more. It’s sure that you must rely on yourself, try to do your best, have your individual tasks. You don’t depend on others who can let you down. Individual sports help to show a person from different sides. If you win, it’s only your victory. If you lose it’s only your fault.
G 3: We consider that team games develop the individual better as every minute you can have help and support from your partners. Watching others and dealing with them you’re are learning and improving yourself. Also, you learn how to interact with others and this will be very useful in your future life as it’s very important to be sociable and gregarious to achieve something.
5. Grammar revising

T: And now let’s remind tag-questions.
