Практична: формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць;

Загальноосвітня: збагачення лексичного матеріалу, розвиток навичок комунікативного спілкування, тренування шляхом монологічного мовлення;

Розвиваюча: розвивати увагу, пам'ять та швидку реакцію;

Виховна: виховувати любов до фізичної культури та спорту, збагачувати духовний світ особистості;

Обладнання:  - підручник О. Карпюк для 7–го класу;

-       робочий зошит О. Карпюк для 7-го класу;

-       роздаткові картки з вправами;

-       аудіозапис.

 

Хід уроку:

I Початок уроку:

1. Організаційний момент ( 2 хв. )

-       Good morning, dear pupils! Sit down. How are you today?  Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

-       Good morning! I’m on duty today……

2. Повідомлення мети та теми теми уроку: ( 1 хв. )

Today we are beginning a new topic. We’re going to talk about very interesting theme: about sport in the world and in Great Britain. So, let’s start!

The epigraph of our lesson is: “ A sound mind in a sound body ”

                                                ( “ В здоровому тілі – здоровий дух ” ).

3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу:

1.   фонетична зарядка: ( 2 хв. )

My dear pupils, I prepared a funny tongue twister for you. I’ll read and you repeat after me all together. Ok?

Six sick hicks nick six slick bricks with picks and sticks.

Who’ll read this tongue twister for me? Let’s try. I’ll help you.

2.    мовленнєва зарядка: ( 3 хв. )

Робота з прислів’ями:

Make proverbs about sport and healthy way of life.

1. Smoking is dangerous for your health.
2. Early to bed and early to rise makes people healthy and wealthy and wise.
3. Eat at pleasure, drink with measure.
4. Health is better than wealth.

a) Хто рано встає, здоров’я, багатство і розум наживе.

b) Їж багато, а пий – в міру.

c) Здоров’я дорожче за гроші.

d) Курити - здоров’ю шкодити.

II Основна частина:

1. Презентація нового лексичного матеріалу ( 5 хв. )

Pupils, open your books, please. Page 68. We have new lexical units. So, repeat the words after me:

An association– асоціація, товариство;

A cup – кубок;

A set ( of ) – набір;

Stadium – стадіон;

Modern – сучасний;

Proper – відповідний;

To introduce – представляти;

To invent – винаходити;

To organize – організовувати.

 

And now, please, right down these words into your vocabularies. You have transcription in your books and I’ll give translation for you.

2. Перевірка розуміння нових лексичних одиниць ( 6 хв. )

Розвиток навичок письма:

Exercise 1:

I’ll give you cards with new the words. Your task is to match English words with Ukrainian translation. ( Teacher gives cards ). ( Дод. 1 )

Exercise 2:

Look at the blackboard, please. There are gaps in the sentences. Fill in these gaps with the appropriate words.

Are you tired? Let’s play a game. I have the names of different kinds of sport. Your task is to choose one and SHOW it to your classmates. ( Дод. 2 )

And now we’ll guess riddles! Give one word to the following definitions:

1.   A game for two teams that you play with a ball and a basket.
2.   A game for two teams that you play with the sticks on the ice-ground.
3.   Canada’s national sport is …….
4.   You can swim there in winter.

6. Розвиток навичок діалогічного мовлення: ( 4 хв. )

And now, dear pupils, I want to hear your opinion about your favourite kind of sport. So, work in pairs, please. Make up short dialogues.

Example:

-       What is your favourite kind of sport?

-       My favourite kind of sport is …….

-       Why is it your favourite?

-       I like………, because it is …….
