Subtopic: “A Tour of London”

Learning outcomes: by the end of the lesson you will be able to listen to and understand a bus tour announcement; to make up and present the projects according to the situations.

T: Look at the board and match the names of London sights with the corresponding photos.

T: Match the parts of the proverbs and read them aloud.

T: Your homework was to revise the vocabulary and the information on the sights of London. We’ll check it during the lesson.

T: Let’s play a game “Two truths and one lie”. Read and tell what statements are True and Wrong.

T: Work in groups of 4-5 people. Listen one more time and work with a map while you listen. Write a number (1-6) to put these places in order that the tour bus will visit them.

Прийом: використання кейс-методу

T: Work in groups of 4-5 people. Imagine that we are in London. After taking the bus tour, you have 7 hours of spare time. Each group should discuss what to do in London in your free time and present the results in a form of a project.
