to develop creativity and language intuition, to broaden knowledge about Ukraine,

to develop student’s skills in listening and speaking.

Expected Results: By the end of the lesson students will be able to distinguish different parts of speech, speak about Ukraine, work in small groups.

Greeting.

Good morning dear, children. Welcome to our lesson. I see you are in a good mood

  and ready to  work hard. I want you to be active today and wish you creativity and success.

 Warming up.

Last year my parents visited their friends and celebrated Christmas together. Christmas in Ukraine is one of the most popular holiday. People dress up, visit the homes of friends, relatives and exchange good wishes. They liked traditional Christmas foods kutia and varenyky. Another national dish is borshch. As Ukraine is a very big country (It is the second largest country in Europe) there are many different ways to make it. As for me I would like to visit this country which is located in Eastern Europe.
