Тема: School life

Мета: практична: активізувати вивчені лексичні одиниці,вживання їх у межах надфразової єдності, систематизувати вживання модальних дієслів у мовленні, вчити учнів     розповідати про обов’язки учнів та вчителів з опорою на малюнки, розвивати навички читання та монологічного мовлення.

 

освітня: Розширити словниковий запас учнів, поглибити знання учнів з теми, підвищити мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови; формувати уявлення про права та обов’язки учнів;

 

розвиваюча: Розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію, увагу, пам’ять, логічне та творче мислення учнів;

виховна: Виховувати ввічливість та культуру поведінки, естетичний смак;

Обладнання: Smart board, роздатковий матеріал, відео матеріал, картки, робочі зошити, презентація Power point

  1. Вступ

1.Привітання

Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Sit down, please! How are today?

Are you ready to start the lesson?

2. Oрганізаційний момент

T: Who is absent today?

S: All are present today.

1.Мовленнєва зарядка

Let’s start our lesson with the question: What is school for you?

P: As for me school is a place where I study

P2: School is my second home

P3: It is a place where we get education.

Who makes education successful?

 P: teachers, pupils, parents.

 

2.Повідомлення теми уроку 

So, as you see today we are going to speak about school. The theme of our lesson is school life.

3.Мовленнєві вправи

Let’s start speaking about pupils. What do good pupils do?

 P: They follow the rules.

Now let’s look at the school signs and say what must or mustn’t pupils do.

P1: The first sign means you must think before you speak…

 Do you usually follow school rules? Are  you good pupils?

Smart board So, let’s check your knowledge about good pupils. Look at the smart board. Your task is to make sentences using the prompts and to arrange them into two columns: what a good pupil should or shouldn’t do.

Ok, I see that all of you are good pupils.

Now we are going to listen to Miss Lis Boa. She is a teacher and she is going to tell us about rules in her classroom.

What was your home task for today? Let’s check it. Look at the board and match the words to their definitions.

And now use these words to speak about a good teacher. Your task is to choose what features are the most important for a good teacher. Prove your ideas.

5.Групова робота

You are going to work in groups. You have a list of words and pictures. The first group should make sentences about pupils, the second group should make sentences about teachers.

I see that you know a lot about good pupils and teachers.

We have spoken about pupils and teachers. Who else makes your studying successful?

P: Parents.

You are right. Are all the pupils well-bread? Who is responsible for their behavior?

teaching, behaved, pupils, discipline, patience, teach, education, training.

The key for successful studying

Parents are the key. Discipline begins at home. Parents of badly behaved 4_____________  should attend courses to 5_____________  them how to control their children. Parents should trust in the 6_____________  of their children. It means that parents should take an active role in teaching and helping their children to learn.

Badly 1_____________ children usually influence on the whole class. Badly behaved children are not attentive at the lessons. Some  people say they should be excluded. Some people think  that schools are not strict enough. Schools need special police type assistants who can deal with the 2_____________. This means teachers can concentrate on 3_____________.

Excluding pupils only makes the problem worse for society. All the badly behaved pupils then meet up in special schools! It is like a 7_____________  camp for crime. Badly behaved pupils should be allowed to continue in their schools. They need help and 8_____________. Parents should help their children to improve their behavior. Parents should understand that they are responsible for their children.
