Read the text: A School Trip to Scotland
Last spring, a group of students from Ukraine travelled to Scotland as part of an international school project. For many teenagers, it was their first trip abroad, so they were both excited and nervous.
The students stayed in Edinburgh for one week. During the trip, they attended lessons at a local school, visited famous historical places, and communicated with Scottish students. They also learned about Scottish traditions and culture.
One of the most memorable experiences was visiting Edinburgh Castle. The students were impressed by its history and beautiful view over the city. They took many photos and bought souvenirs for their families.
The weather was quite unusual for them because it changed several times a day. In the morning it could be sunny, but an hour later it started raining heavily. However, the students quickly got used to it.
At the end of the visit, many students said that the trip helped them become more independent and confident. They also improved their English because they had to use it every day in real situations.
