Hello! My name is Stephen. I am sixteen years old. I live in England in the suburbs of Oxford. My parents are worried a bit about my future career and they always give me some pieces of advice concerning my parents` advice because our views are quite polar in this question. My mother is 39 years old and she is a doctor. She choose the medical profession because she wanted to help people and at the same time to make good money. My mother specialized as an optician, made a good career in the hospital. She is definitely sure that I should become a doctor as well. My father is a businessman. He is 42 years and he has been working for the same company for twenty years. He thinks that he is a very successful person.

Hello! My name is David. I am sixteen. As many other teenagers, I an faced a problem of choosing the right profession and I don’t want to make a mistake in my life. So, I am writing to you because I would like to became a journalist when I leave the school. Since you are the editor of the local newspaper, I was hoping you might be able to give me some advice about what I should do. I have written some articles in my spare time and I am enclosing two of them. I hope that you will not mind looking at them and telling me whether you think they are good or not. I would appreciate any comments you make because I am keen to learn. I also wonder if you could help me about a few other matters.
