Вступ I. INTRODUCTION
1. Greeting.
Good morning! I am happy to see you again, my friends! The topic of our today's lesson is “Food traditions”. During the lesson we'll revise the grammar and lexical materials, we'll talk about food.
2. Warm-up.
Let's begin with listening the poem “The food I like”. Pupils which sit on the right, write down the names of the week, pupils which sit on the left, write down the names of the food.
THE FOOD I LIKE
On Sunday I like meat and chips
On Monday bread cheese,
On Tuesday Coca-Cola
And pizza, m-m, yes please.
On Wednesday it's spaghetti.
And on Thursday eggs and fish.
On Friday I like sandwiches
And ice-cream in a dish.
But Saturday is my favorite day
Oh, yes, it's very nice.
On Sunday it's chicken salad
Bread and butter, rice.

Pupils tell various kind of vegetables, fruit, dairy products, meat food, sweets.
A. Thank you, but I don't know how to use them. What dish will you cook today? May be borscht? Is it your traditional dish?

Work in groups.
Read the text and remake it into your own tense form. Divide into five groups: Present Simple, Present Continuous, Future Simple, Past Simple, Present Perfect.
5. Listening.
Prepare the handouts of the lyrics of the song “If I had a million dollars” by the Barenaked Ladies with the gaps to practice the second conditional.
