Introduction to London

Big Ben. The famous clock tower located in the Palace of Westminster is a must-see sight in London. It is one of the most awesome landmarks in the city.

Tower of London. This historic castle on the banks of the River Thames is famous for its role in British history. It houses the Crown Jewels and offers guided tours.

Buckingham Palace. The official residence of the British monarch. Visitors can watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony and explore the beautiful gardens.

The British Museum. This museum has got a big collection of art and artifacts from around the globe. You can see history and culture, including the Rosetta Stone and the Elgin Marbles.

The London Eye. The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel located on the South Bank of the River Thames. It is a popular attraction for tourists.

Westminster Abbey. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Westminster Abbey is a Gothic church. Lots of royal weddings and coronations were here. It is also the burial place of many historical figures.

The Shard. This skyscraper is the tallest building in the United Kingdom. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of London from its observation deck, known as "The View from The Shard."

Trafalgar Square. A public square in the heart of London. Trafalgar Square is known for its Nelson's Column and the National Gallery. It is a popular gathering place and often hosts events and celebrations.

St. Paul's Cathedral. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Visitors can explore its stunning interior, climb to the top of the dome and attend services or concerts.

Covent Garden. This lively district is known for its markets, street performers, and atmosphere. It offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and theaters, making it a popular place for both locals and tourists.
