Look at the title and through the text of the tale. Predict what is this tale about?
What makes it clear that this is a tale?
2 While-reading activities
Read the tale and fill in the right form verb of to be. What are hares building? Who came to hares? Of which material are the hare building house? Why does fox laugh?
Read the tale one more time and answer the question: Why will Fox`s house melt?
Little, Grey Hares and Pretty Fox
Author: The hares ___ (be) building a house. The fox___ (be) coming.
Fox. Hi, hares!
Hares. Hi, Fox!
Fox. What ___ (be) you doing?

In groups of five act out the tale.
In this fairy tale animals build the house. Have you ever seen how animals build their houses? Let's imagine that you are an animal? Who are you and with which material you will build the house ? Write a short story about any animal`s house. Be sure to include dialogue in which the animal talks about it.
