Тема: Sport in our Life. Спортивні ігри. Обладнання для спорту

АКТУАЛЬНІСТЬ ЗАНЯТТЯ: проведення даного практичного заняття дозволить студентам узагальнити, систематизувати та закріпити вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал з предмету «Іноземна мова»; дасть можливість студентам перевірити отримані знання з вивченої теми «Спорт», приймаючи активну участь в різних видах інтерактивної діяльності; закріпити отриманні знання та вміння; буде сприяти розвитку мотивації, впевненості, співпраці, комунікабельності та творчості.

МЕТА:

Практична:

• формувати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення студентів на рівні мікровисловлювання;
• практикувати студентів у читанні текстів та виконанні післятекстових завдань;
• вдосконалювати навички аудіювання та вміння студентів щодо виконання різноманітних тематичних видів діяльності;
•  вдосконалювати аналітичні навички та вміння студентів працювати в різних режимах, парах та малих групах;
•  практикувати студентів щодо роботи з певними ситуаціями на основі поданих граматичних структур.

Розвиваюча:

• розвивати впевненість та співпрацю;
• формувати в студентів дружні взаємовідносини в ході виконання спільних завдань;
• розвивати вміння читати, виділяти з тексту основне, добирати потрібну інформацію та презентувати її англійською мовою;
• розвивати готовність студентів до участі в спілкуванні англійською мовою та до подальшої самоосвіти в галузі володіння даною мовою.

Виховна: виховувати в студентів такі риси характеру, як доброзичливість, толерантність, ввічливість, гуманізм, активність, товариськість, самостійність, працелюбство, уважність; формувати позитивне ставлення в студентів до вивчення англійської мови, культури народу, який розмовляє цією мовою; розуміти важливість оволодіння англійською мовою і потребу користуватися нею в професійній діяльності; виховувати у студентів культуру спілкування, прийнятої в сучасному цивілізованому світі, ціннісних орієнтацій, почуттів та емоцій.

Освітня: усвідомлення студентами суті мовних явищ, іншої системи понять, через яку може сприйматися дійсність; уміння працювати з підручником та роздатковим матеріалом.

Обладнання: роздатковий матеріал (вправи, тестові завдання), мультимедійний проектор, електронні презентації.

ТИП ЗАНЯТТЯ: практичне заняття з Іноземної мови.

МЕТОДИ І ПРИЙОМИ ЗАНЯТТЯ: випереджальне завдання (асоціограма); бесіда; робота з фонетичним, лексичним та граматичним матеріалом із застосуванням презентацій; робота з тематичними текстами та післятекстовими завданнями; робота з лексичним та граматичним матеріалом за поданими зразками та структурами; робота з роздатковим матеріалом; індивідуальне та фронтальне опитування; монологічне та діалогічне мовлення; робота в парах та малих групах; творчий метод; використання методів «Асоціативний кущ», «Мікрофон», «Передай м’яч товаришу», «Мозковий штурм».

ОЧІКУВАНІ РЕЗУЛЬТАТИ:

Після проведеного заняття студенти повинні володіти:

- фонетичною компетенцією

(особливостями фонетичної вимови та інтонацією вивчених лексичних одиниць);

- лексичною компетенцією

(певним лексичним матеріалом з дисципліни «Іноземна мова, який використовується в типових розмовних ситуаціях та професійній діяльності);

- граматичною компетенцією

(певним граматичним матеріалом з дисципліни «Іноземна мова: вживання означеного та неозначеного артиклів, відсутність артиклів, множина іменників, особові та присвійні займенники, неозначені та кількісні займенники, порядкові та кількісні числівники, ступені порівняння прикметників, прийменники, вживання дієслова «to be» та «to have»).

Студенти повинні вміти:

аудіювання:

- розуміти намір мовця, визначати його точку зору;

- розуміти на слух зміст автентичних матеріалів, розглядаючи їх як джерело інформації та як засіб оволодіння нею.

говоріння:

- здійснювати усно-мовленнєве спілкування в типових фахових ситуаціях (у монологічній та діалогічній формах);

- поєднувати свої висловлювання в чітку, логічно-об’єднану ситуацію;

- висловлюватися без попередньої підготовки.

читання:

- здійснювати ознайомлююче читання тематичних текстів;

- вилучати з текстів потрібну інформацію;

- виконувати післятекстові завдання.

письмо:

- вміти вірно вживати означений та неозначений артиклі, множину іменників, особові та присвійні займенники, неозначені та кількісні займенники, порядкові та кількісні числівники, ступені порівняння прикметників, прийменники, дієслова «to be» та «to have».

- вміти письмово передавати необхідну інформацію.

Студенти повинні бути проінформовані:

- важливість застосування отриманих знань з даного заняття в майбутньому;

- характерні особливості вживання професійно-орієнтованого лексико-граматичного матеріалу.

T: -Good morning, students and the guests! We are very glad to see you all. How are you?

* Студенти доповідають про свій настрій. ** Очікувані відповіді:

- Thanks! Everything is OK!

- I am so enthusiastic today!

- As for me, I am not well, because I am sick a bit.

* Студенти запитують викладача у відповідь. ** Очікувані запитання:

- How are you today?

- Are you in a good mood today?

* Відповідь викладача:

T.: - Thanks a lot! I am all right! My mood is wonderful.

T.: – Who is on duty today?

* Черговий студент доповідає викладачу про присутність в групі та необхідну інформацію (якщо є потреба). ** Відповідь чергового:

I am on duty. Today is………….. (зазначається число, день тижня та місяць). The date is written on the blackboard. ……… is absent today/ ………,…….. are absent today. (Вказуються відсутні студенти). She/he is ill./They are ill. The classroom is aired. The chalk and the duster are here. Everything is in order. The group is ready for the class.

1.2. Мотивація навчальної діяльності

T.: Today’s our class is not only interesting, but it is also necessary, because we are going to speak about topic which is very important for everyone.

The motto of our lesson is “There is no glory in practice, but without practice, there is no glory…”. How will you translate the quotation? (Немає слави в практиці, але і без практики немає слави) How do you understand it?

Thank you for your ideas. And according to our motto we shall be active today!

Look at the screen, there are the proverbs which will help you to understand the topic of the lesson.

1.3. Повідомлення теми та мети заняття

T: So write down the topic of todays lesson. It is “Sport in our life”. We’ll do a lot of work today: write exercises, tell some information about different kinds of sports, listen to the presentation. Sport is very important in our life. So, it's popular among young and old people. They enjoy going in for sport and watching sporting events because they understand that going in for sports help them to be healthier.

1.4. Повторення лексичного матеріалу з теми “Mind Map” (“Associative bush”), Game Bamboozle

Now let’s revise the verbs which are connected with the word Sport. Look at the screen, you can see the word “Sport” on it. Write as many verbs as we can.

Now let`s revise the names of the kinds of sport with the help of the game Bamboozle. The first row will be the first team and the second row will be the second team.

Motivation of educational activity game “Microphone”

Students now I have a microphone. I ask a question.

• Do you like sport?
• Do you prefer going in for sports or watching it on TV?
• What kinds of sports are popular in Ukraine?
• What national English sports do you know?
• What sport games can be played all year round?
• What summer/winter sports do you know?

ІІ Основна частина заняття

2.1. Актуалізація опорних знань і вмінь студентів.

T: Thank you for all the presentations, today we are going to enlarge our knowledge on topic “Sport”. Did you know that all kinds of sport could be divided into two groups? These are indoor and outdoor sports. Can you say what the difference between them is?

2.2. Sports vocabulary 

T: Group these activities into indoor and outdoor sports:

Indoor sports: bowling, tennis, handball, wrestling, archery, volleyball

Outdoor sports: sailing, skating, surfing, baseball, diving, ice hockey, tennis, horse-racing, volleyball.

2.3. Test on the vocabulary “Sport Equipment” with the help Word Wall

Doing sport is impossible without the equipment. Can you name the things you can see at the presenration?

Now we will check the knowledge of these words using the App Word Wall.

Arrow, ball, puck, racket, foil, ice skates, helmet, club, boxing gloves, shuttlecock.

2.4. Grammar information.

You have done a great job. And now do you know the difference between “go”, “play”, “do”?

We use the verbs:

Go – if you speak about sport ending in  -ing:

                  You go swimming. 

Play – if you speak about ball games and chess:

                  You play football.  We play chess.

Do – if you speak about other sports:

                  You do athletics.
