1.Teacher greets the pupils by saying Good morning class. Pupils respond “Good morning teacher.” 2. .A game “Extra card”. On the table each group has a set of cards.Teacher asks learners to take some extra cards away.(T uses L1) -Відкладіть картку, на якій герой полюбляє варення та вважає, що воно є ліками від усіх хвороб(учні відкладають вбік малюнок мультфільму Малюк та Карлсон) etc. (Teacher continues till learners will have only 4 cards with cat, dog, bird, fish) T asks what common these animals have. 1.Ex.1p.36 Tasks Ss to look at the presentation and ask them (in L1) to tell if they've ever had a pet and if they haven'1 what pet they would like to have and why T asks Ss to identify the animals in the pictures. Ask, What's this? Encourage Ss to answer, It's a (bird/fish) . Ask Ss to point to the appropriate picture as you play the CD phrase for Ss to repeat Transcript Track 40 (% . Play the CD and pause after each Boy. I'm Tom. This is my bird, Lou Girl. I'm May. This is my fish, Fay. 2.T plays the audio again and asks to point and repeat each sentence.

This is my fish. 3. This is my bird. 2. This is my dog. 4. This is my cat.
