• Мовні цілі: навчитися розповідати про минулий досвід, зокрема літні канікули (вживання Past Simple: went, visited, played, swam тощо), задавати й відповідати на питання «Where? What? Who? When? Why? How?»; розширити словниковий запас теми літо/канікули (наприклад, beach, mountains, camping, swim, travel, ice cream).
• Навички: основний акцент на усному мовленні (розмовні діалоги, запитання-перепитування), аудіюванні (прослуховування коротких діалогів чи пісеньок), читанні (простих текстів про канікули) і писемному мовленні (короткі оповідання про відпочинок).
• Граматичні цілі: закріплення Past Simple (рядкові дієслова), утворення запитань у минулому часі та відповіді на них, словосполучення з go to, stay in, play on the beach тощо.
• Рівень CEFR: Завдання відповідають базовим рівням початкової школи (приблизно A1–A2). Наприклад, Cambridge рекомендує теми дозвілля та місць A1–A2-рівням, оскільки вони пов'язані з побутовими ситуаціями «sing about places, transport and things to do in your free time». Учні А2 можуть описувати власні досвіди минулого, формулювати прості розповіді.

This summer, I had a great vacation. I went to the seaside with my family. We stayed in a small house near the beach. Every morning, we woke up early and watched the sunrise. We swam in the sea and played volleyball on the sand. My sister built a big sandcastle with flags. At night, we ate ice cream and walked on the pier. It was sunny and warm. I loved collecting seashells too. This trip was fun and relaxing.

We told stories around the fire and slept in our sleeping bags. On Sunday, the rain stopped and the sun came out. We visited a sheep farm and bought cheese to eat at home.
