1. Активізувати лексичні одиниці за темою “ Travelling”

2.Практикувати учнів у вживанні лексичних одиниць в усному та писемному мовленні.                   

3.Розвивати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення.

T: Good morning! How are you getting on? Today we are going to speak about travelling. You’ll learn some new words on the topic and practice them in texts, games and exercises.

This lesson we are going to listen the text about travelling around the city and discuss the way of travelling and places to see there.

T: Your home task was to complete the sentences with the words from the Word Bank.

T: Now you can see a tongue twister on the blackboard. Write down it in your copy books. First of all I will read it then you have to repeat after me. So, let’s start. The two-twenty-two train tore through the tunnel. OK, not bad. Now try again but faster.

 T: Work together and think about the reasons why do people travel. So, you can see that there are lots of reasons for travelling.

 Now you will get cards with a task. You have to match the questions with the answers. Who will be ready, please rise your hand.

T: You can see the new words on the blackboard. Write down them in your vocabularies.

T:  First of all let’s revise when we use The Present Perfect Tense and then use the verbs on the left to complete the song lyrics. You can use each one more than once. Then listen to the song to check your answers.
