Ігрове шоу «We are the patriots of Ukraine».

Інтегрований позакласний захід (англійська мова, українська мова)

Мета: узагальнити та розширити знання учнів з теми Україна; 

активізувати на­вички та вміння усного мовлення на основі вивченого матеріалу;

прищеплювати любов до вивчення англійської та української мов;

розвивати пізнавальну актив­ність учнів;

сприяти розширенню кругозору учнів;

виховувати почуття гордості за свою країну;

виховувати грома­дянську свідомість учнів.

Обладнання: карта України, картинки із символами України, мультимедійна дошка, презентації по темі.

Хід заходу

Вчитель АМ. Good morning, dear friends. I'm pleased to see you at our holiday.

Today we are going to speak about Ukraine, its geographical position, its people and traditions, about cities and towns of Ukraine.

The motto of our holiday: "He, who loves not his Motherland can love nothing" (G. Byron)

Сьогодні ми ще раз переконаємось у красі та невичерпному багатстві рідного слова.

What is our Motherland?

(Виступи учнів)

1. We live in Ukraine. It is our Mother­land.

2. Ukraine is a large European country. The territory of Ukraine is more than 603,000 sq km.

3. The population of Ukraine is more than 47 million people.

Ukraine borders on Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

In the south Ukraine is washed by the Black and Azov Seas.

4. There are the Crimean Mountains and the Carpathi­an Mountains in Ukraine. The highest peak of the Carpathian Moun­tains is Hoverla with 2061 m. high.

5. There are 131 rivers in Ukraine. The longest of them are: the Dnipro, the Donets, the Dniester, the Bug.

6. There are more than 400 towns and cit­ies in Ukraine. The biggest of them are: Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk. The most important ports in Ukraine are: Odesa, Mikolayiv, Kherson, Kerch.

7. The capital of our country is Kyiv, a beautiful city on the banks of the Dnipro River.

8. Ukraine is a sovereign state. The Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on August 24, 1991 by the Ukrainian Parliament.

9. The Ukrainian symbols are the na­tional flag and the Golden Trident. The national flag has 2 wide stripes: blue and yellow. The yellow colour symbolizes the colour of the sun and the wheat, and the blue colour means a clear sky.

10. Another symbol of Ukraine, which all Ukrainian people know and love is a snowball-tree. People sing beautiful songs with poetic words about snowball-trees and plant them near their houses.

КОНКУРС 4 «НАЙКРАЩА У СВІТІ».

Умови конкурсу: кожна команда за 1 хвилину повинна записати щонайбільшу кількість епітетів, якими можна схарактеризувати нашу мо­ву. Скористайтеся ними й передайте свою любов до рідного слова.

Виконавши завдання, команди озвучують результати своєї роботи.

(Кількість записаних слів буде кількістю набраних балів.)

Вчитель УМ. Два з половиною десятки епі­тетів на означення рідної мови зібрав у своєму вірші Валентин Бичко.
