Позакласний захід "Saint Valentine's Day."

                                   Сценарій до позакласного заходу                                         до Дня Святого Валентина з англійської мови для учнів 8-10 класів

Мета заходу: систематизувати знання учнів про звичаї та традиції святкування « Дня  святого Валентина», розширити знання учнів про свято, підвищувати інтерес до вивчення культури англомовних країн, розвивати мислення, п’амять, самостійність, удосконалювати навички звязного мовлення, розвивати інтелект, пізнавальні здібності і комунікативні навички.

Зал прекрашений кульками, плакатами у вигляді сердечок, стрічками.

Під звуки музики учні зустрічають гостей свята. На сцену виходить вчитель і двоє ведучих:

Вчитель: Dear friends! Ladies and Gentlemen, Children and Grown-ups! You are welcome to our party, dedicated to St. Valentine’s day, which is always held on February 14th and brings us happiness and good luck. St Valentine is one of the popular holidays in Europe and America. It is the day, when boys and girls, sweethearts, lovers, husbands and wives, friends and neighbors, and even the office staff, exchange greetings of affection, undying love, or satirical comment. So we wish you today a Happy Valentine’s Day, good mood and any positive emotions.  

           Виходять ведучі з двох сторін,ведучий підходить до ведучої і дає їй Валентинку

Ведучий:                Here’s a special Valentine

                                With lots of love for you

                                And since you’re very special                                 Here are hugs and kisses too!             Ведучі повертаються до глядачів і вітають всіх присутніх.

Ведуча: Hello, friends! We’re happy to welcome you at our party today. We’ve been                             eagerly waiting for it!

Ведучий: Today we celebrate St. Valentine’s Day! It’s a special day. It’s the day when                    people tell each other nice things, they give small presents to their beloved                    one’s, and they speak and sing about love.

        На сцену виходить учениця і розказує вірш « It’s Valentine’s day»  

                                      It’s Valentine’s Day. And in the street

                                There’s freezing rain, and slush, and sleet.

                                The wind is fierce.The skies are grey,

                                I don’t think I’ll go out today.

                                But here inside the weather’s warm,

                                There’s no trace of wind or storm.

                                And you just made the morning shine:

                                You said you’d be my Valentine.

Ведучий: Do you know why this day is called St Valentine’s Day? Who was this                   

                 Valentine?

Ведуча: There are several stories about the origin of the day. Do you want to learn more                 about it? Here you are. According to one legend Valentine was a Christian priest                  in the Roman Empire 300 after the death of Jesus Christ.

Голос з-за сцени:

               When the Roman Emperor Claudius II needed soldiers for his army, he made a                special law against marring because he was sure that getting married made men             want to stay at home instead of fighting wars. But at that time there lived a priest        called Valentine. He couldn’t agree with the emperor’s decision. When he saw                                   that young couples were truly in love, he married them secretly.

                                                         Scene 1

На сцені появляються хлопець і дівчина, одягнуті в одяг часів Римської імперії.            

Він: Oh, please! Marry us! We love each other truly! We can’t live without each other.

Вона: I’ll die, if you don’t marry us. Please, please. Help us! ( вони падають на коліна) Священник: I see how much you love each other. I will help you. My daughter! My son! I                     declare you husband and wife! Live long and be happy! ( забігають воїни                         імператора, схоплюють священника)

Воїн 1: Priest, you have been discovered and condemned to death!!

Воїн 2: How dare you break the law? To prison! Він і вона: Farewell, Father!

                                                        Scene 2

 Священник у в’язниці. Звучить сумна мелодія, виходить ув’язнений з дочкою.

Священник: What a beautiful girl!

Увязнений: This is my daughter. She is so unhappy. She will never enjoy the light of the                      sun! She will never see the blue sky! She will never see the trees! (плаче) Священник: I will help you. come up to me, poor child! Don’t be afraid! ( через деякий                                   час дівчина показує, що до неї повернувся зір. Вона щаслива.) Дівчина:       You’ve worked a miracle! Thank you! You are so kind. Even here, in prison,                              you show your love for everyone. I’m grateful to you! May I come to visit                                  you every day?

Священник: Unfortunately, tomorrow, on February, 14, I am too die. But I’m not scared                         and I want to tell everybody on earth, « I love you. I’m your Valentine.» Голос з-за сцени: Just before his death, on February, 14, Valentine sent the girl a                                                   farewell message which he signed « From your Valentine.»

                                      На сцену знову виходять ведучі

Ведучий: Now I think everybody understands why this day is observed in many countries               of the world. It’s a good time to show your love.

Ведуча: Love to your mother, granny, to your sister or brother, to your relatives and                        friends.

Звучить пісня…….. Yesterday.

                Виходять ведучі, а за ними Купідончик.

Ведучий: Do you know what the symbol of St. Valentine’s day is?

Ведуча: I think it’s a little boy with a bow and arrows.

Ведучий: Cupid is his name. Let’s call him; he is the main guest of our party.

Ведуча:  But I know that he didn’t come alone, but with his Valentine. Let’s invite them.

                         Виходить Купідончик і його Валентинка.

Купідончик: Hello ,everybody! I am very glad to be with you at such interesting and                               romantic party. Do you know who I am? I am  Cupid a symbol of love! I help                     alone people to find their Valentines. I have already found my Valentine and                      you?

Купідончик і його Валентинка проводять конкурс « Кохання з першого погляду»    ( Купідон і Валентинка вибирають 3 дівчат і 3 хлопців, вони сідають по різні сторони. Спочатку їх запитують їхні імена, їхні вподобання, а потім задають питання:

1.   What is an ideal girl/boy for you? (appearance, character…..)

2.   What a romantic present would you make for your girl/boy-friend on her/his birthday?

3.   Where would you invite your girl-friend on your first date?

4.   What a romantic nickname would you make up for your boy-friend?

 Вибирають ідеальну пару і вручають їй приз!

На сцені знову появляються ведучі. Ведуча читає Валентинку.

Ведучий: What are you reading?

Ведуча: Oh, it’s a Valentine card from a secret admirer.

Ведучий: A secret admirer?  Who is it?

Ведуча: Don’t you know? It’s a person who writes Valentine’s card to someone, but who                wants to stay unknown. So he/she signs the card like this « a secret admirer» or 

                « a mysterious friend»

Ведучий: I see. Where  do you take these cards?

Ведуча: Why? In the mailbox, of  course! Yesterday we had a mailbox at our school and                everybody had a chance to write Valentine’s cards to someone whom he or she                           likes.

Підводяться підсумки конкурсу « Найкраща Валентинка.» Купидончик і його Валентина читають Валентини, обирають найкращу і вручають сюрприз.

Учні читають вірші: 1. Here is f Valentine

    And this is what it’s for-

    To say that every day you’re loved     More and more and more!

2.  You’re just the nicest kind of boy (girl)

     So very grown up, too.

     No wonder that this Valentine      Brings lots of live for you

3.  The rose is red, the violet blue,       Lilies are fair and so are you!

4.  Just a little note say:

    «Have a happy, Valentines Day!»

5.  If you will be my Valentine,

    My charming little dear,

    The sun can never help but shine      Throughout the coming year!

6.  Valentine! You stole my heart!     You’ve turned my world upside down!

Учні виконують танець.

Ведуча: Love is a warm feeling to your mum and dad, to your sisters or brothers…. Ведучий: To your teachers?

Ведуча: Yes, to your teachers, too.

My teacher’s very special,

So I’m making her a heart.

A Valentine that’s sure to be

A proper work of art

 I’ve worked on it all morning

 Soit should be ready soon

 I’d like to slip it on the desk  Before this afternoon.

It’s colored in with crayons,

And it’s trimmed with paper lace

It has flowers, hearts and Cupids.

I can’t wait to see her face.

Ведучий: Of course, we like our teachers and are thankful them for everything.

Ведуча: Our teachers are elder and cleverer than we are, let’s them ask what is Love for               them?, what was their first love?

Учні запитують вчителів про їхнє перше кохання про їхнє перше кохання, і що для них кохання? 

Ведучий: Love is a strong feeling.Sometimes it makes us sacrifice. Something that we                    really like.

Than peaches and a plum,

Than chocolate hearts,

And cherry tarts,

And berry bubble-gum.

I love you more than lemonade,

And seven-layer cake,

Ведучий: What a funny declaration of love!

Ведуча: This is a sad story, but Love is a tender feeling! How many tender and nice                       words we may say, when we love! Let’s check our pupils.

Ведучий: Oh, such beautiful words! I think English is the most wonderful language. I love        

                   English so much. It’s great that English helped us speak about Love today!

Ведуча: We finish. Thank you time. Be happy! We love you!

Вчитель: We hope you enjoyed our today’s performance. Thank you your attention.                         Remember, Love is the best feeling in the world, which brings happiness and                                understanding, good mood and many positive emotions. So, love each other                           and be happy!!!

На сцену виходять всі учасники і прощаються з глядачами під пісню……
