Позакласний захід для учнів 6 класів

 

Мета заходу:

  • узагальнити вивчений лексико-граматичний до теми «Покупки»;
  • розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення;
  • активізувати пізнавальний інтерес до  Великої Британії, її мови;
  • розширити знання учнів про види магазинів, відділи, різноманіття товарів та послуг;
  •  розвивати діалогічне та монологічне мовлення учнів;
  • розширювати знання учнів про Великобританію, культуру та звичаї англійців;
  • виховувати культуру поведінки а магазинах.

 

Обладнання: ноутбук, роздатковий матеріал, відео, мультимедійна дошка.

 

Хід заходу

 

Учитель. Good afternoon, my dear friends! We are glad to see you. You have a journey today.

 

We shall watch interesting videos and play games. You know shopping plays great role in our life. Every day we buy something.

Make up new words, connected with our theme, from the first letters of the word “Shopping”

  1. Перегляд відео 1 “Shopping vocabulary”.

Look at the blackboard where you can see some words : Counters -Cash -Trolley -Cashier -To wrap –Checkout- Expensive -To select -Goods -Various -Department store- Price -Change –Customer.

Now look at your paper with explanations of the meaning of these words, then find your word on the blackboard.

When we think about shopping, first of all we imagine shop ( a place where we can buy something). What kinds of shops do you know?

Look at the slide-show and name the kind of the shops you see. Then say what we can buy there.

1. Shopping is a process of communication between two persons: a shop-assistant and a customer. Now you’ll listen to one of the conversations between them, after listening you have to arrange the dialogue using giving phrases. Read the dialogue in roles.

Dialogue

Salesperson: Hi. Can I help you find anything?

Customer: Yes. I am looking for an outfit for a Christmas party.

S: Is it formal or informal?

C: It is pretty informal, I think.

S: Are you looking  for  a dress?

C: I think a dress or a skirt. I would like something in red.

S: We have some nice red dresses over in this area. They look very festive for the Christmas season.

S: What size are you looking for?

C: I think about a size 10.

S: Okay, here is one. Would you like to try it on?

C: Yes, please.

S: Sure, our fitting rooms are back here.
(Customer tries on dress.)

C: That’s fine. I know it will look great at the party. How much is it?

S: 200 dollars.

C: Here you are. Thank you!

S: Thank you and come again.
