Позакласний захід (вікторина) на тему: "The World Around Us"

 

ПОЗАКЛАСНИЙ ЗАХІД

 

 

Тема: вікторина «Світ навколо нас» (“The World Around Us”)

 

Мета: розвинути мовні компетенції учнів (захід проводиться англійською та українською мовами), використовуючи англійську мову як мову інструктажу; систематизувати і поглибити знання учнів про навколишній світ; сформувати навички роботи у команді.

 

Обладнання/література. Для організації квесту необхідні наступні обладнання та наочність:

• одна переносна дошка
• 1 пачка кольорових стікерів
• 1 набір кольорових аркушів
• 1 маркер
• 1 ватман
• набір фломастерів
• вирізки із журналів або роздруковані картинки
• призи: 5 зошитів, 5 ручок, 5 олівців
• буклет “Brain-Busting Geography Quizzes”
• буклет “Officially Amazing Quiz” (Guinness World Records)
• веб-сайт Challenge the Brain “Questions and Answers Movie Quiz”

 

Короткий опис підготовчої роботи.

1. Оформити презентаційний постер для трьох станцій-зупинок квізу.
2. Написати питання та завдання на стікерах.
3. Підготувати таблицю із критеріями оцінювання для запису результатів.
4. Домовитися із учителем, який виконуватиме функцію журі.
5. Купити приз квесту.
6. Квіз проводиться у конференц-залі Заліщицької державної гімназії.

 

 

 

Сценарій

1. Презентація команд (Team Presentation).  Три команди по 5 учасників у кожній. Команди діляться за такими кольорами: жовтий, синій, зелений. Учні представляють капітана, назву своєї команди, девіз та емблему. За цей етап учасники можуть одержати максимум 4 бали. Мови проведення – англійська та українська.
2. Станція 1 (Station 1) Historical Facts Quiz. Pantomime. The telling of a story without words, by means of bodily movements, gestures,and facial expressions.

        Команда делегує 2-3 представників, які показують ситуацію. Інші члени команди відгадують. Перед початком виконання завдання учасники пантоміми повідомляють іншим членам команди ключові  слова, додані до кожного завдання. На цій станції учасники можуть одержати 3 бали.

 

• Primitive man kindles a fire. Extraction of fire (Hint: this event happened during the primitive communal system).

3. Станція 2 (Station 2) General Knowledge Quiz. На цій станції команди відповідають на питання із п’яти категорій: Places and Spaces, World Cultures, Human Body, Music, Miscellaneous Questions. Кожна категорія містить 9 питань. Питання 3 рівнів:

• 3 питання Тrue/False (1 бал)
• 3 питання із варіантами відповідей (2 бали)
• 3 питання з відкритими відповідями. Якщо учасники відповідають одразу – 3 бали, після першої підказки – 2 бали, після третьої підказки – 1 бал.

На 2 станції команда делегує представника, який обирає питання із певної категорії. Представник зачитує обране питання і впродовж 1-2 хвилин учасники обговорюють питання. Представник дає відповідь.
