Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland . It is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world. It has a lot of interesting places to see.

Edinburgh Castle is the main place of interest in the city. It is very famous and very old. It is 1000 years old.

In Edinburgh Castle there is famous  One O`Clock Gun which is fired every day.Every citizen in Edinburgh check his watch by this clock.

Holyrood Palace is the place where the Queen lives when she comes to Scotland. The palace is closed when the Queen is in Edinburgh.

There are many sport centres with good swimming pools in the city.

There is the famous ‘Edinburgh Festival’, the cultural event of the year. In August , Edinburgh is one big party with great music, theatre and films!
