Usage Rules for Present Perfect Tense:

An action or situation that started in the past and continues in the present: They have lived here since childhood. I haven`t seen him since I was 10. I have done this since my birthday.

An action performed during a period that has not yet finished: ---She has been to the cinema twice this week.---The scientists have conducted experiments in lab this year.---This day she has done her homework.

A repeated action in an unspecified period between the past and now: ---We have visited Paris.

An action that was completed in the very recent past, expressed by 'just‘: ---I have just finished this task.---They have just done this task.---She has just conducted the lesson.
