“ The most expensive world currencies in 2020”, порівняти ціни на товар в Китаї, США, Англії та Україні. Згідно курсу обміну валюти обчислити вартість товару у євро валюті.

2. Reading the text “Price of products across the world” SB p.39

After-reading activities:

• Matching the currencies to the countries ex.1,p.39
• Answering the questions ex.2,p.39
• Writing: group work – calculating the prices in euros in the table in the article. Ex.3,p.39

3. Listening to the texts and filling the gaps (using QR code) .
4. Writing and Speaking “ At the restaurant”.
5. Reading the description of the Smart Watch , creating the Mind-map.

 На основі прочитаного тексту “ The product review about The 405 GPS Sports Watch” учні у формі ментальної карти складають характеристику товару згідно його вартості, позитивних та негативних якостей, висловлюють свою думку щодо того, чи вигідна ця покупка.

Після того, у групах,  використовуючи  завдання “Elaboration in Writing”, “Storytelling”, записують на кольорових смужках дані товару, утворивши з них ланцюг, та захищають даний проект. Кожен учень представляє свій міні-проект “ My mobile phone” за цією ж технологією.

Good, not great

The 405 GPS Sports Watch normally costs$330. In my opinion, that’s too expensive for a sports watch. However, it now costs $195 in the sales, so it’s on special offer! It only comes in one colour, grey, but that isn’t a problem because it looks really cool. Obviously, the watch tells you how many minutes you run. But it does much more than that! It also shows you how far you run, how fast you run, how many calories you burn, and your pulse per minute. I think that the watch has a couple of problems. Some people find it difficult to use because the instructions are quite complicated. Also, the battery doesn’t last long enough.

In conclusion, this is a good watch, but it isn’t perfect. However, at $195 I don’t think that you can find a better bargain.
