Тема уроку: Різноманітність професій

Мета:

• практична: активізувати вживання в мові учнів лексичних одиниць теми; удосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання, письма й усного монологічного мовлення;
• розвиваюча: розвивати пізнавальні інтереси учнів;розвивати вміння аргументувати свою точку зору, аналізувати і робити висновки;
• виховна: виховувати правильне ставлення до вибору професії, поважне ставлення до думки співрозмовника.

Обладнання: телевізор, 2 відео до уроку, роздатковий матеріал (картки для роботи в групі, парах).

Хід уроку

1.Організаційний момент. Вступне слово вчителя. Оголошення теми, мети та мотивація.

Good morning boys and girls! I’m very glad to see you. 

Find a topic with letters (profession).

Today we’ll continue to speak about the role of the profession in the person’s life.

You are in the 9th form and you should decide what to do after finishing it: to leave school for getting a job in technical school or to continue education at school in the 10th form. It is not an easy task to make a right choice but it is very important for everybody. There are a lot of honourable professions today. Still, it is difficult for young people to choose. Despite all this question is so important especially today when we have to rise our land.

I am a teacher, my job is very responsible, stressful but rewarding. What does a profession of ... require?

2. Актуалізація наявних знань та робота з лексикою.

Watch the video, write down the names of professions and then match with adjectives, which characterize them and describe. Read the results one by one.

3. Вправа «Світ професій» (з’єднати назви з діями)

Match words professions with action, which people do.

5. Перегляд відео фрагменту “Бесіда про роботу” із завданням для учнів

 - fill in the words from the dialogue

6. Хвилинка релаксації. Вправа "Живий малюнок"(назвати професію)

Учні без слів показують професію, інші намагаються здогадатись, яка це професія. Той, хто перший назвав, показує наступним.

7. Розвиток вживання в мовленні словосполучень та речень.

I want to finish our lesson with the poem “Just Me”

Grown-ups always want to know,

I’m never sure what to say, my answer changes every day.

Maybe I’ll be a detective on a TV show.

I might be a disk jockey on the radio.

I’ll be a pilot and fly through the sky.

I’ll be a dancer and leap way up high.

I’ll be an author and write a great book.

I’ll be a chef – the world’s greatest cook.

I’ll be a sailor and sail on the sea.

I think for now that I’ll just be me.

Учні слухають визначення кожної групи професій та називають приклади професій до кожної групи. Потім розподіляють професії згідно характеристик:

1. dangerous jobs
2. jobs which require a university degree
3. jobs which are primarily done by men
4. jobs which are primarily done by women
5. jobs which are most prestigious
6. jobs which are least prestigious
7. jobs which are well paid
8. jobs which are low paid
