Мета: формувати навички вживання герундія на основі вивчених лексичних одиниць(watch a cartoon, play chess, ride a bike, fly a kite, paint, play music, a team, play team games, listen to music) та відпрацювати їх в усному і писемному мовленні;
розвивати навички діалогічного мовлення за темою, використовуючи структурні групи Do you like? ; I don’t like../ I like…;
розвивати навички читання та розуміння прочитаного на основі вправ підручника;
удосконалювати фонематичний слух;
виховувати любов до активного відпочинку.
Обладнання: тематичні малюнки, аудіозапис, транскрипційні знаки звуків[ ], [ u: ], [ju:]

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
1. Привітання

2.Мовленнєва зарядка.
Бесіда з використанням структурних груп How are you?How is your mother(father, brother, sister)?(робота в режимі Т-Р1,Р2,Р3…)

3. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
The theme of our lesson is ‘Hobbies’. We are going to learn how to read about hobbies, to write, to listen, to speak, we will dance a little, sing a song and do some exercises. By the end of the lesson you will be able to read, to sing a song, to act dialogues and to speak about your hobbies.

Listen and repeat the sounds and the words.

Вчитель читає по стрічці вірш, супроводжуючи демонтрацією малюнків.

1. Повторення лексичних одиниць (на дошці малюнки).
Вчитель читає словосполучення, учні повторюють.
Watch a cartoon, play chess, ride a bike, fly a kite, paint, play music, a team, play team games, listen to music.
But remember – when we speak about our hobbies we usually use two words like and the name of a hobby. Very often we form it with the help of the ending –ing which we add to the verb.
Like this: fly + ing = flying jump + ing = jumping
Repeat after me:
