Мета:

• формування предметних компетентностей: повторити лексичні одиниці з теми, удосконалення навичок читання, вживання граматичних конструкцій, практикуватися в діалогічному мовленні, аудіюванні та письмі. Розвивати правильну вимову, мовну здогадку та увагу.
• формування ключових компетентностей: спілкування іноземною мовою (читання тексту), соціальна компетентність (здатність співпрацювати в команді), уміння вчитися протягом життя (самостійно працювати з інформацією, організовувати свій час та простір), ініціативність і підприємливість (ініціювати усну і писемну взаємодію іноземною мовою).

Тип уроку: урок розвитку компетентностей

Змістові лінії: екологічна безпека та сталий розвиток, громадянська відповідальність.

Методи: дискусія, робота з різними джерелами інформації.

Очікувані результати: учні описують явища природи, вживаючи лексику з попередніх уроків.

Обладнання: відео-пісні, роздатковий матеріал.

1. Warm up

1. Привітання

• Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you! (Привітання піснею “Shake”). Thank you a  lot for your song! You’re wonderful! Before you will find out theme of the lesson, let’s ask each other about your feelings. (Учні кидають один одному м’ячик та відповідають на запитання How are you today? ).
• I want to start our lesson from a little poem. Let’s read it and find out the theme of the lesson.

Farmers bring in the harvest from the land.
Animals prepare for the winter chill.
Leaves fall from the trees — floating
Lightly to the ground.

• So, the theme of our lesson is Autumn.

2. Practice

1. Speaking (говоріння)

Закріплення вживання структури It’s …; I like / don’t like..., because … .

• You’ve got cards with different words. Look attentively and tell everybody What is autumn for you? Choose the pictures and describe autumn (учні дивлячись на малюнки, обґрунтовують свою думку щодо осені).

2. Reading (читання)

• Very well, children. Now we are going to work in pairs. Let’s read a poem and insert missing words (учні працюють в парах, читають вірш та вставляють пропущені слова).

          Autumn Days

Autumn day, autumn __,

God gives richest gifts __.

Look on every side and __

Pleasant things for you and __.

Apples red and apples __,

Round and juicy sweet and __.

Load the trees `till they bend __

3. Listening (аудіювання)

• And now as I promised, some questions for you. What are the greatest holidays in autumn? Try to guess them:

1. It is celebrated on the 5th of October. Children bring flowers to their teachers and congratulate them on that day.

2. It is celebrated on the 31^st of October. People cut faces in pumpkins, put candles inside to scary the ghosts. People wear masks and special costumes.

3. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. The families meet together for a large meal. They eat turkey and cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie for dessert. This holiday appeared in 1863.

-   Great job, children! You know a lot about autumn.
