Сценарій казки “The Turnip”

 

Characters: Grandfather, Grandmother, Masha, Nick, Vegetables, Dog, Cat, Mouse, author.

 

Виходить ведуча.

An author: How do you do, our dear guests! We are glad to meet you at our holiday of fruit and vegetables. I think you all like them.

 If you want to go out and play

A healthy snack begins the day

Even if you are outside

That is what you shouldn't hide

 

Carrots, broccoli and even melon

Pumpkin pie and also lemon

Vegetables is healthy and also grand

It is also good in lending a hand

 

Fruits like mango and grapes

And also those healthy flakes

Eat those foods and be okay

And remove all those junks away.

 

And now you’ll see a performance “ A turnip”.

So, one day in the garden…

Scene I

 

Виходить дідусь і ходить по своєму городі.

Grandfather: Oh! What a nice garden I have! It’s very big and nice. But we must dig it and plant the seeds of different vegetables and fruit.

Grandfather: Grandmother! Zhuchka! Murka! Mouse-Norushka! Come here and help me please!

Grandmother: What’s the matter? What do you want , Grandfather?

Zhuchka! Murka! Mouse-Norushka!: What’s happened?

Grandfather: Help me, please! We must dig the ground and plant vegetables and fruit.

Grandmother! Zhuchka! Murka! Mouse-Norushka!: OK! We’ll help you!

Grandfather:

 We had planted  little seeds,

 We took out all the weeds.

 So they grow and grow fast

 And will bring the rich crop at last.

(Everybody is tired, the cat and the dog begin to play  the others sit down on the bench to have a rest.)

Grandpa: Let’s go and have some tea.

Cat: Miau!  With milk?

Grandpa: Yes, with milk.

Grandma: It’s very good.

Mouse: It’s wonderful.

Cat: It’s very nice.

Dog:Woof! Woof!  OK.

Mouse: All right.

                                            Scene II

 Овочі та фрукти  ростуть і співають пісню-помідор, огірок, морква, слива, яблуко, мандарин)

This is how the seeds will grow

In the garden, in the garden

Early in the morning.

Tomato: Oh! I am so big. Look, my friends! My peel is so ripe.

Carrot: My braid is so long and I am so nice!

Cucumber: My suit is so green and modern. I’m  tasty…

Plum: Oh! I am so beautiful! I have a small stone inside.

Apple: I ‘m so ripe and round! I am red and yellow.  I am tasty…

Tangerine: My peel is very orange and my juice is very tasty. I am funny and good. Dear friend let’s play hide-and-seek.

Tomato: A, B, C, D, E, F, G,

George is hiding far from me.

Looking here, looking there,

I can’t see him anywhere.

(всі по черзі)

(Grandpa comes in. He looks at the vegetables and fruit and counts.)

Grandpa:

One tomato,

Two tomatoes,

Three tomatoes,

Four.

Five tomatoes,

Six tomatoes,

Seven tomatoes more.

Bad one.

(He throws it away. Then Grandpa says “Carrots”, “Cucumbers” and counts again.)

 Nick and Masha: Good morning, dear Grandpa!

Grandpa: Hello, my sweet hearts! I am glad to see you.

 Nick and Masha: We are glad to see you too.

 Nick: Oh! Grandpa, your garden is very large and nice. What old trees grow here! There are many flowers and fruit in your garden.

Grandpa : Yes, there are many nice and tasty fruit here. You know that I like to work in the garden and to grow different fruit and vegetables.

 Masha:: Dear Grandpa! What fruit do you grow here?

(дідусь водить онуків  по саду і розказує)

Grandpa : Here you can see apple-trees. They are ripe and juicy.

Apple:  I am red and yellow.

             I am a very cool fellow.

             My name is apple, big and nice.

             I am a tasty surprise.

 Grandpa: Here you can see a tangerine- tree.

Tangerine: I am a tangerine.

                   Really nice and clean.

                   Very good and very tasty.

                    Eat me! Are you thirsty?

Grandpa : Here you can see a plum-tree.

Plum: I am a little dark-blue plum.

           I can very quickly run.

           I am very ripe and sweet.

           You can take me and can eat.

Together: We are nice and we are gold.

                Soon you’ll gather in the crop.

Masha: Your fruit are very funny. I like them.

 Grandpa: And now let’s go to my vegetable garden. I think you will like it too.

Nick: Oh, what a nice vegetable garden you have! There are all kinds of vegetables here, such as carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes and beets. They all are very good to eat.

Grandpa : Here you can see tomatoes.

Tomatoes: You can see me every day.

                  Tomato is my name.

                   People like me very much.

                   For breakfast, dinner, supper and lunch.

Grandpa : Here you can see cucumbers.

Cucumber: I am a cucumber-his friend.

                   I am the nicest on the land.

                   Eat me every day with salt.

                   I have useful things a lot.

Grandpa : And here you can see carrots.

Carrot: Look at my orange suit.

             I am a vegetable, not a fruit.

             My juice is very, very sweet.

             I have a friend-its name is beet.

Together: We are nice and we are gold.

                Soon you’ll gather in the crop.

(танець і пісня овочів і фруктів “Hello”)

Tomato: Dear friends we want to guess you the riddles. You’ll guess them with the help of questions.

( Овочі тримають в руках картинки, а діти за допомогою простих запитань.

   Коли учні відгадують овоч або фрукт, то вони описують його.

Nick: Grandpa, we’ll go to our Granny.

Grandpa: OK!

Нік і Маша  ідуть до бабусі а дідусь все ще походжає по городі.

Scene III

 

 Нарешті дідусь бачить ріпку.

Turnip: (вірш)+пісня з танцем

Let`s twist again,

Like we did last summer!

Like we did last year!

 

Do you remember when,

Things were really hummin`,

Twistin` time is here!

Grandpa: Oh! What a big turnip I can see in our kitchen garden! That’s great!

I want to pull it up!

  Author: The turnip grows and grows and it grew very big. It’s time to pull it out. The grandfather is  holding on to the turnip and  he is  pulling hard, but can't pull the turnip out.

(He tries to put it out.)

Came the happy, happy time

 Taking out crops of mine.

 Pulling, pulling my turnip

 Can’t just do it - it's too big!

(He tries to put it out.) One, two, three. One, two, three. Up! Down! Aside! Oh, sit down! No result.

 (Sits on the ground.)

Turnip: Ha,ha,ha! I am so strong and he can’t pull me out.

Grandpa:I should call grandmother for help.  Granny, Granny! Come and help me please!

Grandma: I’m coming. What do you want ? Why are you calling me?

Grandpa: Look! What a big turnip we have in our garden! Help me to pull it up, please!

 

Grandma:  (Sees the turnip.) Oh, what a nice turnip! Let’s try to pull it out.

 AN AUTHOR: The grandmother is  holding on to the grandfather, the grandfather is holding on to the turnip and they are both pulling hard, but can't pull the turnip out.

Grandma and Grandpa: One, two, three. One, two, three. Up! Down! Aside! Oh, sit down! No result.

 (Sit on the ground.)

Turnip: I am very happy! I grow in the ground and they can not pull me out.

Grandma:  It’s too deep in the ground. We can’t pull it out. We must call our granddaughter and grandson.

Grandpa: Are Masha and Nick at home?

Grandma: No, they are out.

Grandpa: Where are they?

Grandma: They are  at the dance club.

Grandpa: Then let’s go and have some tea.

Grandma: All right.

 Scene IV

(Vegetables are in the garden. They are playing with a ball .)

 Lady Lemon goes out,

Sir Plum is black and round,

Miss Cherry is sweet,

You are the first to eat!

(Grandpa, Grandma appear.)

Grandpa: Let’ try to pull the turnip out again. Masha! Nick! Help us, please!

Masha: Hi! My name is Masha! I am eleven. My hobby is dancing.

Nick: Hi! My name is Nick! I am ten. My hobby is dancing too.

Masha, Nick: Look! We dance well.  

(Танець і пісня Маші і Ніка)

Tic Toc

Приспів.

Tic Toc

Tic Toc,

Sing the hands of round clock.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

Eleven, twelve.

Let’s do it again.

 

Seven o’clock

I wake up.

Coping to the yours and looking my cup.

Brush my teeth

And I dress myself.

Put my toys there on a shelf.

Приспів.

 

Twelve o’clock

Eat my lunch.

Apple juice some maybe fruit a punch.

Chicken nuggets seems to beans,

Cheese is good,

If you know what I need.

Приспів.

 

Time, time

is catching upon only.

But it all there an on a scarp.

Good, big and doesn’t mean

 it’s a small,

And doesn’t  always.

Look mama picking some flowers.

 Приспів.

 

Seven o’clock

time to bed.

Down a pillow and put down

my head.

Down my animals with me here,

Say good night my teddy-bear.

Приспів.

 

Masha: OK! I will help you. What a wonderful turnip! Let us pull it up!

Nick: I’ll help you too. Let’s try.

 AN AUTHOR: The granddaughter is holding on to the grandson, the grandson is holding on to the grandmother, the grandmother is holding on to the grandfather, the grandfather is holding on to the turnip and they all are pulling hard, but can’t pull the turnip out.

Grandma, Grandpa, Granddaughter, Grandson: One, two, three. One, two, three. Up! Down! Aside! Oh, sit down! No result.

(Sit on the ground.)

Turnip: Oh! They are so sweet and funny!

Grandpa: Let’s call Zhuchca. 

Grandpa and Grandma and Masha  and Nick (together): Zhuchca! Zhuchca! Come here! Help us!

Zhuchca:  Woof, woof , I’m coming. Hi! Nice to meet you. I’m Zhuchka. I’m a very clever dog. My hobby is music.  Where is that turnip? We will quickly pool it out all together.  I’ll help you.

 AN AUTHOR: Zhuchka is holding on to the granddaughter, the granddaughter is holding on to the grandson, the grandson is holding on to the grandmother, the grandmother is holding on to the grandfather, the grandfather is holding on to the turnip and they all are pulling hard, but can’t pull the turnip out.

Turnip: I’m so tired. They pull my braid!

Zhuchca : It’s not so easy. Let’s call the cat to help us  to pull the turnip out.

 Everybody (together): Murka! Murka! Come here! Help us!

Murka : Miau!  Miau!  How do you do! My name is Murka. I’m three years old. And now I have three kittens. I love them very much. Would you like to listen to a poem about me?

Everybody (together): Yes, tell us the poem.

Murka:

Pussy cat, pussy cat,

Where have you been?

I’ ve been to London

To look at the queen.

Pussy cat, pussy cat,

What did you do there?

I frightened a little mouse under her chair.

Murka: What’s the matter, my dear friends? Oh, what can I see! Such a big turnip! I will help you! Let’s pull it out!

Turnip: Olye, olye, olye, olye. I’m happy, I’m sly!

Grandpa: Let’s call the mouse.  

Everybody (together): Norushka! Norushka ! Come here! Help us!

Mouse: Hello! I am a Mouse! I like sports and dances.  Now I’ll show you. Cat and dog, help me please!

Собака, кіт і миша танцюють.

Mouse: What’s up, my dear friends? What a beautiful big turnip! I’ll help you . Let us pull it up!

AN AUTHOR: The mouse is holding on to the cat, the cat is holding on to Zhuchka, Zhuchka is holding on to the granddaughter, the granddaughter is holding on to the grandson, the grandson is holding on to the grandmother, the grandmother is  holding on to the grandfather, the grandfather is holding on to the turnip… (витягують ріпку)

 Everybody (trying to pull the turnip out):    One, two, three. One, two, three. Up! Down! Aside!  We have pulled the turnip out! We have pulled it out! The turnip is nice.

Author: …  and they  pulled the turnip out! All of them were glad that the turnip was finally out.

Turnip: Here I am! I’m a little sad because you well eat me. But I’m satisfied with your family. You are so strong and friendly when you are together.

Mouse: We will not eat you. Come and live with us. We will be happy.

(Everybody is singing.)

 Beautiful day.

It’s a beautiful day outside.

I think I’ll go for invite.

The sun is out,

The sky is blue.

What else can I do?
