SCENE 1.

Кімната. Мама з дітьми прикрашають ялинку. Звучить різдвяна пісня  “Last Christmas”.

Mother: What a wonderful evening it is! I think Christmas is the most favourite holiday of the year.

Kate: Of course,mum! I like it,too. I like decorating Christmas tree and getting presents from Santa Claus.

Jane: Mummy,why do you like Christmas?

Mother:

I love Christmas for many things

Trees,candles,angel wings.

Stars in the heavens,snow covered hills,

Little toy trains,dolls in their frills.

I love Christmas,ribbons of gold,

Familiar carols,so very old.

Sweet candy canes,bright red sleds,

Little ones tucked snug in their beds.

I love Christmas,but most of all

I look forward to a neibour’s call.

A friendly chat,a cup of tea.

Love in the home means Christmas for me.

Jane:And I enjoy Christmas very much,too.At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Our Lord.

Kate:I’ve  read about it in the Bible.

Mother:Do you remember where Jesus Christ was born?

Jane:In the town of Bethlehem.

Mother: The night before Christmas is long and dark till the first stars light and brighten the sky. It is quiet time. Time to think about the life, people around and the future. Christmas Eve is the  time to wait for wonderful things that can happen only once a year. Just imagine:a stable,a manger,shepherds,a heavenly light. Listen...

(ялинку прибираємо в сторону,світло вимикаємо).

 

SCENE 2.

(Світло включаємо)

Біля багаття сидять три пастушки. Одна грає на флейті. (Мелодія “Самотній пастух”),відеоряд на дошці

 

1st shepherd:The city of Bethlehem is full of people these days.They’ve come from everywhere.

2nd shepherd:Look!The sky!It’s getting brighter and brighter.What can it be?

3rd shepherd:Is it a dream? Do you see it? I’m scared. Let’s run away.

( З’являється Янгол)

Angel: Don’t be afraid.I bring good news tonight.It will make men happy,when they hear it.Tonight in Bethlehem,a Saviour was born.He is the Messiah,the King that God promised for many years.

1st sherpherd:The Messiah – born in our city?

2nd sherpherd:In Bethlehem? Tonight?

3rd sherpherd: Where can we find Him?

Angel: There’a a sign for you!You will find this Baby in a manger in the stable.

1st sherpherd:Be quick!Let us go and see Messiah and bring Him some gifts.Glory to God in the highest!

Mother:That’s why,my darlings,the birth of Our Lord shook all the world.It is in our hearts nowadays. And every year we celebrate Christmas which is the most important religious holiday for many people in the world. Christmas story comes from the Bible. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who was very kind and loved children very much.

(Входить тато)

 

Father:Is anybody in?

Kate:Hi,Dad!

Jane:Hello,pa!Look at our Christmas tree.

Father:Oh,it’s fantastic. You’ve decorated it perfectly! I can see lots of bright balls and coloured lights. Our Christmas tree is so beautiful!

(Беруться всі за руки та співають навколо ялинки  “Oh, Christmas tree!”)

Father:Hello.Glad to see you.Who are you?

Actress:We are actors and actresses, singers and dancers.On Christmas Eve we go from house to house and give a little merry performance. Now we have come to your house and would like to entertain you a little bit.Look and listen,please.  Катя З

                        Pink and purple, violet and blue.          

 Father: Thanks for coming and congratulating us with this wonderful holiday! We had a lot of fun! I  want to congratulate you, too. They say the best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas surrounded by your precious family, and many blessings for the coming year.Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Now let’s sing together!
