Сценарій виховного заходу "Miss English learner"
KOHКУРС ДЛЯ ДIBЧATOK
Мета: пригадати вивчений лексичний і граматичний матеріал, вдосконалювати навички читання, письма і усного мовлення;
розвивати пам’ять, увагу та фонематичний слух школярів;
виховувати естетичні смаки та інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.
Обладнання: ПК, проектор, флешка, роздатковий матеріал.
Procedure
Вступне слово вчителя.
T. Dear friends! We are glad to see you! The girls of the 6th forms gathered here to prove that they like learning English and they know it well. And we are here to decide which of them deserves the title "Miss English Learner".
Now let me introduce the jury of our contest... (they may be the teachers of English or the senior students who know English well).
Every girls on our contest will be having number and colour. Girls go to me and choose numbers and then take your places.
Contest number 1 "My visit card"
The girs introduce themselves, their own hobbies, favourite holidays, subjects, lessons etc. — 10-15 sentences.
Contest number 2 "Word searcher"
The next contest is “Word searcher”. Girls love flowers. Boys you must find flowers and give it for girls.
The girls then find the word on the topic.

Keys: reading, choir, football, hockey, composer, volleyball, jazz, golf, swimming.
The winner is the girl that will find the greatest number of the words during 3-5 minutes or will do it faster.
The girls must make up the sentences.
1. Like, boys, to, play, football.
2. Went, the, we, to, yesterday, country.
3. The, pupils, in autumn, plant, trees.
4. In, the, slept, open air, they.
5. I, you, shall, on Monday, see.
6. The, lives, in, wolf, the, forest.
Contest number 4 "As many as possible"
In lor 2 minutes the girls are to call as many words as possible on the topic " School" e.g. a gymnasium, an assembly hall, a History study, subject, sport ground, a laboratory, a canteen, etc.
(clothers, my family, food, school, sport)
Contest number 5 "Guess the tence "
Read the sentence and say what tence is it.
Boys we must say true or false using the cards (red, green).
The pupils plant trees in autumn.
She will cook breakfast for us.
The woman is wearing a blue dress.
My brother studies in Rivne.
The children are planting trees.
The students are reading.
Mother will be cooking all day tomorrow.
The boys played football in the afternoon.
I shall see you on Monday.
The girls are to demonstrate their talents in dancing, singing English songs, reciting English poems, telling jokes in English, acting out the short plays etc.
After each contest the jury put the points for each of the girls. The girl with the greater number of points is presented the title "Miss English Learner".
There may be other titles e.g. "Miss English Grammar", "Miss English Vocabulary ". The girls are also given the diplomas and the sweet prizes.
