Scene: "Morning Mayhem in the Classroom"

(The classroom is abuzz with activity. Students are diligently writing in their notebooks, a quiet hum of focus in the air. Suddenly, the door swings open, and Danil rushes in, looking flustered and slightly disheveled.)

Danil: Good morning, everyone!

Maria (barely looking up): Morning, Danil.

Alexander (glancing at him): Why are you so out of breath? Did you race here or something?

Danil (waving his hand dismissively): Oh, it’s nothing… just a bit of a chaotic start to the day. Anyway, why do you all look like you’re preparing for a final exam?

Maria: That’s because we kind of are.

Danil (frowning): What do you mean?

Alexander: Geometry, Danil. The first lesson today is Geometry.

Danil (panicking): Geometry? Oh no! Is it Wednesday already?

Maria (dryly): Yes, Danil. It’s Wednesday.

Danil: Oh, no, no, no! I completely forgot to do my homework!

Maria (smirking): Color me surprised.

Danil (pleading): Maria, you’ve got to help me! Please let me copy yours!

Maria (sighing): Danil, this can’t keep happening.

Danil: I know, I know! But this time is different, I swear! Please, just save me this once.

Maria: Fine. Sit down and take out your notebook.

Danil (rummaging through his bag): My notebook… my notebook… Where is it? (pauses dramatically) Oh no! I left it at home!

Alexander (mocking): Well, at least you’re consistent. Did you remember anything useful?

Danil (suddenly cheerful): Oh, yes! My new lunchbox! (pulls it out and opens it) Look at this—cheese sandwiches!

Maria: Incredible. You forgot your Geometry homework but managed to pack a gourmet meal.

Danil: Alexander, be a friend and lend me some paper.

Alexander: Sure, but let’s face it—you’re not going to finish copying in time.

(The bell rings, and the teacher, Miss Anna, enters the classroom. The students rise respectfully.)

Miss Anna: Good morning, class.

Class: Good morning, Miss Anna.

Miss Anna: Please take your seats. (notices Danil, who looks flustered) Danil, is everything all right? You seem… unsettled.

Danil (putting on a dramatic tone): Oh, Miss Anna, I’m utterly exhausted!

Miss Anna (raising an eyebrow): Exhausted? And why is that?

Danil: It’s the sheer amount of homework, Miss Anna! Geometry, Physics, Chemistry, IT, Biology, and don’t even get me started on foreign languages! It’s overwhelming!

Miss Anna (smiling slightly): That does sound like a lot. But I assume you managed to get through it all?

Danil (nodding emphatically): Of course! I’m always prepared.

Miss Anna: That’s wonderful to hear! Show me your notebook, then.

Danil (hesitating): My notebook? Oh, uh… About that… It’s not in my bag. I think I left it at home on my desk.

Miss Anna (calmly): How unfortunate. But not to worry, Danil. There’s an easy solution to this problem.

Danil (perking up): Really? What is it?

Miss Anna (smiling knowingly): Please come to the board and explain the first problem on page 97 to your classmates.

Danil (whispering to himself): Why me? Why now?

(Dramatic music plays as Danil slowly stands and walks to the board. The other students exchange amused glances and start clapping rhythmically to encourage him.)

Maria (whispering to Alexander): Maybe this will finally teach him to plan ahead.

Alexander: One can hope.

(Danil reaches the board, hesitates, and turns to face the class with a sheepish smile. Miss Anna gives him an encouraging nod. The scene closes as Danil takes a deep breath and begins.)
