Day 1 The USA Introduction. Washington

I Warm up Clusters – The Ss should make certain clusters when the music is switched off: Stand in groups of 3; Shake hands with as many people as possible; Form a group of 4 of roughly thе same height; Find people whose birthday is in the same month as yours; Stand together in groups of 5 and agree on the song to sing

II Game “I am going to the USA and I will take a …” – the students starts their “journey” to the USA and they should say their name and one thing to take with them beginning from the letter of their names. T  he  next student says the same but he has to repeat the information of the previous person.

ІІІ Video Fun Facts For Kids. United States of America – watch the video to revise some general information about the USA, quiz “What you know about the USA?” in groups

IV Worksheet Washington D.C. Vacation Travel Guide – watch the video and do the tasks in groups (answer the questions about Wash DC, name the sights and the monuments, answer the questions about interesting facts), running dictations Important Sights of Washington DC – take turns to rewrite the texts about the different places of interest of the city, read to exchange the information, The USA Test – complete the missing information and match the pictures to check everybody’s understanding

VI Video Lesson Unit 5 The Great Outdoors about camping – before-, while, after-watching activities

День 1 США Вступ. Вашингтон

І Розігрів Кластери – учні повинні створювати певні кластери, коли музика вимикається: стати в групах з 3; пожати руки максимально можливій кількісті людей; створити групу з 4 осіб приблизно того ж зрісту; знайти людей, чий день народження в тому ж місяці, що і ваш; встати разом у групах з 5 і погодитися заспівати пісню

IІ Я гра "Я їду до США, і я візьму ..." - студенти починають "подорож" до США, і вони повинні назвати своє ім'я і одну річ, щоб взяти з собою, але вони повінні починаться з літери їхніх імен. Наступний учень каже теж саме, але він повинен повторити інформацію попередньої людини. 

ІII Відео Веселі факти для дітей. Сполучені Штати Америки - подивитися відео, щоб згадати деякі загальні відомості про США, вікторина "Що ти знаєш про США?" в групах

IV Робочий аркуш Вашингтон, округ Колумбія. Поїздка. Подорожній гід - переглянути відео та виконати завдання в групах (відповісти на запитання про Wash DC, назвати визначні пам'ятки, відповісти на запитання щодо цікавих фактів), бігові диктанти Важливі пам'ятки Вашингтона -   по черзі переписують тексти про різні місця інтересу міста, читають, обмінюються інформацією, Тест США - заповніти відсутню інформацію та узгодити зображення, щоб перевірити розуміння кожного

Day 2 US States and Capitals

I Warm-up Roll and Jump – listen to your number and be first in the circle to jump on the card with a certain state

II 50 States Song – the students listen to a funny song about the US states and their capitals,  Group work – the students work with the map of the US states to do some tasks to learn American’s states, their capitals and symbols in groups

III Video Tour States – watch the example of how to draw the map of the USA,  Poster Competition My map – draw the maps of the USA in groups and present them in class.

V Unit 6 Tasks:

Snapshot; Conversation Turn down the TV; Grammar Focus Two-part verbs and will for responding to reqests; Pronunciation Stress in two-part verbs; Word Power Household chores, Listening Family Life

День 2 США та столиці

I Пісня 50 Штатів - студенти слухають смішну пісню про штати США та їх столиці, Робота в групах - студенти працюють з картою штатів США для виконання певних завдань, щоб вивчати держави США, їхні столиці та символи.

III Відео "Тур по країні" - подивитися приклад того, як малювати карту США, Замгання плакатів "Моя карта" - намалювати карти США у групах та презентувати їх у класі.

V Розділ 6 завдання

Знімок; Бесіда Вимкнить телевізор; Фокус на грамматику Двочастинні дієслова та will для відповіді на запити; Стрес Наголос у двохчастинних дієсловах; Сила слова Домашні справи, Слухання Сімейне життя

Day 3 Interesting Places of the USA

I Warm-up Secret Words – write associations in groups and get one point for each in the list

II Video 15 The most amazing places to visit in the USA – watch the video to learn about popular places to visit in different states – natural landmarks, choose the most interesting for them

III Worksheet Interesting Places in the USA – read the texts in groups and  find the answers to the questions, make lists from 1 to 9 by popularity in groups

IV Group work – the groups are given different worksheets with the information about the most fascinating man-made landmarks of the USA: the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument, the Sears Tower, Mount Rushmore. They should present the information to the rest of the class in a poster and check understanding with true/false questions

IІІ Робочий аркуш Цікаві міста США – прочитати тексти в групах й знайти відповіді на питання, розробити список від 1-9 за популярністю в групі

IV Робота в групах - групам надані різні листівки з інформацією про найбільш захоплюючи штучні пам'ятки США: Статуї Свободи, Пам'ятник Вашингтону, Сірс Тауер, гора Рашмор. Вони повинні надати інформацію іншим в класв у вигляді плакаті та перевірити розуміння, задаючи  питання правильно/неправильно

I Teambuilding The egg drop – group task to leave a raw egg safe after throwing from he height of the chair.

II Worksheet Across America in a Covered Wagon – learn about the life of Pilgrims in the USA and paint the map of their travellings in groups

III Song Animaniacs about American Presidents – the students learn about the most important Americans in the history of USA, fill in the chart in groups

IV Game “Who am I?” Each students has a piece of paper with a name of some famous person of America. The should walk around the clssroom asking Yes/No questions to quess who they are.

V Units 5-6 Progerss Check – Self-assessment, listening Summer Plans, Discussion Planning a vacation, Role-play Excuses, excuses, Game Could you do me a favour, Quiz Units 5-6

I Warm up Purpose Mingle – make short notes, mingle and share the ideas about the camp activities – What activity was the most exciting and why? – What activity was the most difficult and why? – What activity was the most useful and why?

II Video Lesson Unit 6 What a mess! – before-, while, after-watching activities

III Vocabulary categories – fill in the chart with the wordsfrom certain categories using one letter: country, free time/activities, clothes, food, animal/bird, feelings/emotions, holiday, building and houses, famous people, jobs and occupations in groups

IV Backyard Scrabble – make words using certain letters in groups

V Board Games – play a summer game in groups, create your own board game
