3. It is a natural disaster of below-average precipitation in a given region, resulting in prolonged shortages in the water supply.
4. It is a violent rotating column of air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground. They are capable of tremendous destruction with wind speeds of up to 300 mph. They can destroy large buildings, uproot trees and hurl vehicles hundreds of yards.
5. It is the movement of rock, earth, or debris down a sloped section of land. They are caused by rain, earthquakes, volcanoes, or other factors that make the slope unstable.

I. Name what natural disaster it is.
1. It is simply an uncontrolled flame that is wiping out large fields and areas of land. It can also destroy forests, grass , houses and buildings depending on type of vegetation being burnt.
2. It occurs when hot materials from the earth's interior are thrown out. Lava, rocks, dust, and gas compounds are some of these "ejecta".
3. It is a severe shortage of food, but not the "I forgot to go to the grocery store and there's nothing to eat in the house" type of shortage. It is usually caused by crop failure or disaster.
4. This term is the regional name in the northwest Pacific for a severe (or mature) tropical cyclone, whereas hurricane is the regional term in the northeast Pacific and northern Atlantic
5. It is a rapid flow of snow down a hill or mountainside. Although they can occur on any slope given the right conditions, certain times of the year and certain locations are naturally more dangerous than others.
