Цей тест поєднує усі три типи умовних речень (First, Second, Third Conditional) та підходить для учнів 9 класу рівня B1–B1+. До нього додаються ключі, що дозволяє самостійно перевірити правильність виконання.

Conditionals

 

  1. Match two parts of the sentences.
  1. She would have come to dinner

a) he won’t find a good job

  1. Jane would lose weight

b) if we had invinted her.

  1. If I were you, I

c) the burglars wouldn’t have got in.

  1. Unless Mark graduates from univetsity

d) wouldn’t travel on my own.

  1. If you had locked the door,

e) we will greet  them at the door.

  1. When the guests arrive,

f) if she attended the gym regularly.

  1. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct tense.
  1. I will read this article when I (to have) time.
  2. If I were you, I (not, to complain).
  3. If you touch a hot frying pan, you (to burn) your finger.
  4. If jack had closed the door, the dog (not, to run) away.
  5. Helen could live by herself if she (to be) older.
  6. When water (to boil), it produces steam.
  7. If Brian (to hear) any news, he would have phoned us immediately.
  8. If the bus arrived half an hour earlier, we (to be) in time for the seminar.
  9. If you do not water the flowers, they (to fade).

  7. If Brian had heard any news, he would have phoned us immediately. (Third Conditional)
  8. If the bus arrived half an hour earlier, we would be in time for the seminar. (Second Conditional – hypothetical past)
  9. If you do not water the flowers, they will fade. (First Conditional)
