Today, when due to universal computerization English was purchased by status of language of global intercourse, teachers of this discipline, see the task in linguistic social adaptation of student to the modern terms of life. A man, going out on the level of international and international intercourse, must possess abilities and skills of expression of the ideas in English language. Thus, communication goes out into most important place. Communication, in same queue, needs motivation. If there is interest, that reason, children surmount obstacles easily, well seize educational material.
It is clearly, that impossible to compel a man freely to communicate in foreign language by a formal method. It is important to create such terms, that intercourse became necessary, that a child wanted to talk, but not in order to get a good estimation, but in order to enjoy socializing with coevals in foreign language. And we, teachers, must help a student to overcome an internal constraint, before intercourse in foreign language. And it can be attained only on condition of transformation of every student from a passive listener in the active creative participant of educational process.
The special place in the departmental a foreign language teaching at our school occupies week of foreign language.
Large preparation precedes the week of foreign languages. Foremost, it is registration of school hall placards, by wall newspapers and other evident materials, created studying on the preliminary tasks of teachers. On this stage the project method of teaching of foreign languages will be realized, in particular creative projects. Creative projects suppose the proper registration of results. Some problem lies in basis of project. Problems come into question on lessons, creative groups are formed. It is necessary to agree about the planned results and form of their presentation. In this case it is a joint wall newspaper or placard or selection of thematic crosswords, rebuses, made studying. Today I try to use Internet researches, presentations, placing of the best works on the site of school. A subject is various: countries of the studied language, ecology, education, cinema, inventions, fascinations and etc. to decide a problem, studying is requiring not only knowledge of foreign language but also domain the large volume of subject knowledge’s, necessary and sufficient for the decision of problem.
Here exemplary plan of week:
Objectives:
to develop listening, speaking and writing skills;
to practice group work;
to improve oral speech skills;
to develop pupil’s creative imagination in communicative activity;
to develop pupil’s grammar skills;
to train the new words and expressions according to the topic of the week.

загальноосвітні – формування лінгвострановедчеської компетенції учнів шляхом ознайомлення з англійською літературою, сприяти виробленню комунікативної компетенції, розвивати мовну здогадку;
виховні – виховувати інтерес до англійської мови та культури країни;
розвивальні – розвивати творчі здібності навички роботи в команді.
Дидактичні завдання – систематизувати лексичні навички по темі “Книги”, закріплення матеріалу, контроль його засвоєння.
Зміст: учні поділяються на дві команди; кожна команда обирає собі капітана та назву; вікторина складається з декількох турів.

І. Pupil 1: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to our Literary quiz show! During the whole month we have been studying the British literature and now it’s high time to find out which team knows this subject better.
Pupil 2: You will have several tasks and for completing every task each team will get a certain number of points.
P 1: The winner will be awarded small souvenirs and the most active of you will get good marks.
P 2: First, we’ll choose the name and the captain for every team.
P 1: OK, now you are ready to start the competition, aren’t you?
Pupils: Yes, we are.
II.P 1: The first task will be the contest “Right or wrong?” We will give you sentences about English literature and books in general. You will need to decide whether they are right or wrong. Is the task clear?
