Про матеріал

Урок, розроблений для групи дівчат ІІ курсу за професією "Швачка" в училищі. Орієнтовно відповідає рівню 10 класу за програмою Стандарт. Для вчителів загальноосвітніх шкіл можуть стати в нагоді окремі матеріали уроку (більшість з яких є авторськими), а також форми та методи роботи на уроці.

Тема: «Робота і професії. Опрацювання матеріалу теми через діалогічне мовлення»

Мета:

1)освітня:ознайомити учнів з основними фразами та будовою діалогу за темою, навчити використовувати набуті знання в мовленні, шляхом висловлювання власних думок та ведення діалогу, як в звичному контексті так і в нестандартних умовах, ознайомити з основами ділового спілкування;

2)розвиваюча: через систему вправ створити умови для використання набутих знань з теми, розвивати вміння та навички говоріння (діалогічного мовлення) за темою, швидко та правильно реагувати на висловлювання, провести зв’язок між раніше вивченим та новим матеріалом, реалізувати міжпредметні зв’язки через дібраний лексичний матеріал теми та виконання завдань, а також за допомогою спеціальних завдань низького рівня складності реалізувати диференційний підхід, розширити світогляд учнів;

3)виховна:формувати соціокультурну компетенцію, розуміння важливості обраної професії в житті людини, звернути увагу на небезпеку можливості потрапити в сферу торгівлі людьми.

Тип уроку: урок формування умінь і навичок

Форма проведення уроку: усна робота в парах та малих групах

Методи уроку: елементи бесіди, наочні: робота з опорними таблицями, завдання за відео фрагментом, практичні: виконання різноманітних вправ, випереджаюче завдання, методи критичного мислення (здогадка за картинкою, аналіз, зіставлення, синтез), методи учнецентрованого навчання, ігрові, коллаборація (співпраця зі старшими учнями, спрямована на досягнення спільного результату), QR-коди

Слово вчителя: Dear ladies, today on Friday December 7^th we have a quite unusual lesson because there are a lot of guests came to watch and to listen our work. So let’s show them what we can do and I hope share our good humor. We also have two special guests – the third year students – Maria and Kate. They’ll help you to learn today. So let’s greet them. (Students applaud)

And to start our lesson I want with the words which are hidden in this QR-code. Can you read them? Do it, please. (Students read the QR code – MOTTO)

Відбувається коротке (близько 1 хв.) обговорення вислову відомого американського вчителя сучасності - The future of the world is in my classroom today (Ivan Welton Fitzwater). Майбутнє світу в моєму класі сьогодні. Орієнтовні питання для обговорення:

How do you understand this saying?
Who is it about?
Do you agree that you’re the future of the world?
What does that mean to be a future?

Teacher: You will be adult citizens of our city, country. You will work to make our world better. You will be my hope and support when I become old and weak. So it’s very important to become good specialists, good citizens and at last good people to make our future nice and comfortable.

Учні висловлюють свої думки. За пропозицією вчителя визначають про що піде мова на уроці.

2) Актуалізація знань учнів:

Lead-in: Вчитель нагадує ученицям, що їх домашнім завданням було відновити знання за темою власної майбутньої професії, продумати, яке значення має професія в їх особистому житті та для інших людей, чи важлива вона і, наскільки. Наступне завдання стосується саме цієї інформації. Вчитель пояснює учням, що за командою вони мають встати з місць і протягом 1 хвилини провести опитування та заповнити таблицю, яка є на їх столах. Питання для анкетування наступні:

Would you like to work abroad in the future?

Обговорення за результатами анкетування за наступними питаннями:

Count, how many people did you ask? Who has the biggest number?
How many of you are going to work after finishing the vocational school?
How many of you would like to work abroad in the future?

Приведення учнів до висновку, що для тих, хто хоче працювати за кордоном, є просто необхідним вміння спілкуватися англійською на певні теми стосовно професії.

So, if we want to be able to work abroad, what should we know? What knowledge do we need? Therefore let’s work hard today: remember all that we’ve already learnt and learn new things which we need.

З метою пригадати вивчену лексику з професії учням пропонується уважно переглянути відеоролик «The Work Song cinderella» та виконати наступні завдання:

First of all let’s remember some terms on your profession. For that reason watch the video and complete the following tasks:

a) Назвати якомога більше термінів з професії швачки на зразок мозкового штурму. Brainstorm the words of your profession which were in the video

b) Наступне завдання за відеороликом: скласти словосполучення чи речення з названих слів, або просто дати відповідь на питання, що тваринки робили у відео. По одній фразі від кожної учениці.

c) Оскільки кожна швачка має вміти описати модель одягу, наступне завдання зробити це англійською стосовно сукні з мультику. По одній фразі від кожної учениці.

Describe a model of the dress which was in the video

10. The skirt on the bottom is complemented by a wide frill of a different color

Розподілення учнів на малі групи (по 3особи ) за алфавітом «А,В,С,D» для обговорення переваг майбутньої професії та власного ставлення до неї. Обговорення (протягом 1-1,5 хвилин) за наступними питаннями:

Розподілення учнів на 2 команди за рахунком «1,2» для виконання гри в хрестики-нулики. Всі номера 1 – хрестики, 2 – нулики. Команди стають біля дошки, де намальовано поле гри, та отримують на стрічках – аркушах завдання для суперників. За правильну відповідь команда може поставити свій знак на полі. Починає команда, в якої 5 завдань. Переможець визначається за стандартними правилами.

Завдання гри (всі разом), відповіді не зачитуються, а використовуються для перевірки:

b) Робота в парах. Учні отримують розрізані на фрази діалоги, що стосуються працевлаштування та обговорення оголошень 3 типів:

A: Hi, Whitney! Have you seen the advert on Instagram? A new service station is looking for car-cleaners!

A: Not only, a part-time too. They also pay good money. What do you think?

B: Do they require any experience?

A: That’s not essential. I think we can try. It’s a nice point

B: Sure! We’re hardworking and energetic. Besides we had a nice practical training course at the vocational school. Let’s apply

3. Співбесіда з роботодавцем / Job interview

A: Hello. I’m Simon Jones

B: Nice to meet you, Simon. Take a seat and tell me something about yourself

A: Well, I’m 18, I’m a student, and I’m looking for a part-time job to help pay for university

B: I see. Why do you think you’ll be a good shop-assistant?

A: Yes. I worked in a surf shop last summer. Here’s a letter of recommendation.

Учні складають діалоги, перевіряють правильність виконання звіряючи зі зразком на презентації, зачитують в парах, визначають до якого типу з трьох вони відносяться

ІV Закріплення / Practice

Спеціальні гості уроку – дівчата 3 курсу презентують свій «Модний дім», розповідаючи про свою роботу у відео ролику-блозі та запрошують молодших учениць на роботу.

Завдання індивідуальні диференційовані відповідно до можливостей учнів:

- відтворити телефонну розмову з роботодавцем (зателефонувати за вказаним в оголошенні телефоном)

- відтворити розмову друзів про оголошення (в парі з тим, в кого таке ж завдання)

- відтворити інтерв’ю з роботодавцем (безпосередньо з дівчатами 3 курсу)

- доповнити будь-який з друкованих діалогів

е) Human Trafficking

Вчитель, після короткої бесіди про небезпеки працевлаштування на роботу за кордоном, а саме, торгівлю людьми, пропонує ученицям спробувати визначити безпечність представлених оголошень, звертаючи увагу на певні особливості (Додаток 2)

f) Скласти листа-заяви про прийом на роботу. Application letter

Завдання для командної роботи. Учениці за розрахунком на 1, 2 розділяються на 2 команди. Кожна з команд отримує однаковий набір розрізаного листа-заяви про прийом на роботу. Хто швидше правильно впорається із завданням

I’m writing to apply the position of a part-time seamstress in your Fashion House which you advertised in Instagram.

I’m a second year student of the Melitopol higher vocational school, learning this profession, and I am planning to start my own business when I graduate. I think that this job would be a valuable experience for me.

I’ve already had the two-month practical training course at the garment factory this autumn. I consider myself to be hardworking and reliable. I’m also friendly with customers.

Please find enclosed a copy of my CV. I am available for an interview whenever you want. I look forward to hearing from you.
