Тема: Повсякденні справи

Мета: Повторити стверджувальні на питальні речення у Present Simple, прислівники частотності always, usually, sometimes, never, тренувати їх вживання в усному та писемному мовленні; практикувати учнів у читанні та аудіюванні з метою детального розуміння, у діалогічному та монологічному мовленні, у письмі (заповнення пропусків), у використанні Present Simple та прислівників частотності; сприяти розвитку навичок читання, аудіювання, письма, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, лексичних та граматичних навичок, логічного мислення, довільної уваги,словесно-логічної пам’яті, уяви; сприяти вихованню культури поведінки та спілкування.

Очікувані результати: учні ведуть діалог з використанням Present Simple, розповідають про дії з використанням прислівників частотності.

Тип уроку: застосування знань та вмінь.

Обладнання: підручник для 3 класу О. Карп’юк, робочий зошит, програма Smiley 3, презентація, проектор, вправа на аудіювання, аудіозапис, знаки оклику на липкій основі, мікрофон, парти поставлені на 4 учні.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

Greeting: Good morning, children!

A talk with the pupil on duty.

Aim: Today you will practice using Present Simple and adverbs of frequency: always, usually, sometimes, never. (slide 1)

Warm-up: Let’s revise the spelling of these words. Look at the screen and move the letters to the right or to the left to make up a word. (Smiley 3)

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

Introduction: Today, children, is an unusual lesson. We have got guests today, the Browns. (slide 2) They will give you tasks and help learning to use the words: always, usually, sometimes, never.

Listening: Our first guest is Bill (slide 3). He has sent us an e-mail. (slide 4) But look, something is wrong: some words are missing. They are: always, usually, sometimes, never.

What shall we do? I have got an idea, let’s phone Bill! (slide 5)

Work in pairs. (Each pair gets the text of the e-mail.)

   Hello, friends!

   Come and visit my family. My mother _______ cooks dinner. My sister and I ______ help her in the kitchen. My brother Tom _______ watches cartoons, but __________ he plays with his dog. My dad _____ watches TV, he reads books.

   We are a happy family!

 Listen and fill in the gaps with the words: always, usually, sometimes, never. You will listen to the phone call for 3 times. First you listen then fill in the gaps then listen and check.

Ask 1 pair to read out the e-mail, compare the answers with the e-mail on the screen. (slide 6)

Reading:  You see, (slide 7) Bill and Kate help their mum in the kitchen. What about you?

Mrs. Brown (slide 8) wants to know if you help at home. Let’s do the quiz.  Open your books: ex.2 p.84. Read the question and choose the answer. Now count your points using the table.

And now let’s learn the results. Those, who have 12-15 (8-11, 3-7, 0-2) points, put up your hands and read the results altogether.

Physical activity: Tommy (slide 9) can see that you are tired and he says, “Let’s sing the “Head and shoulders” song”

Sing and act.

Speaking: Kate (slide 10) needs your help, she has got a very difficult homework. She must make a report about your everyday life. Let’s help her and act as reporters.

Open your workbooks: ex.2 p.53.  In pairs interview each other and mark your partner’s answers in the table. Use the scheme of the interview. (slide 11)Then change partners and ask again.

Act as reporters take the microphone and tell about your partners’ everyday life, use the answers in the tables and the scheme (slide12).
