Тема.Лондон.Подорожуємо Лондоном.

ЦІЛІ УРОКУ: активізувати вивчену лексику за темою;

вчити знаходити необхідну інформацію у прочитаному тексті; організувати контроль мовленнєвих навичок учнів з теми; сприяти розширенню загального та країнознавчого кругозору; поглибити знання учнів про культуру та історію Великої Британії; розвивати вміння учнів відокремлювати головне; логічно та послідовно викладати власні думки іноземною мовою, аналізувати, узагальнювати, порівнювати; самостійно будувати мовленнєву дію; розвивати мислення, зорову пам'ять та уяву; виховувати культуру мовлення, повагу до культури, історії, традицій Англії, до мови, що вивчається, як засобу міжнаціонального спілкування.                                                                           ОБЛАДНАННЯ УРОКУ: карта Великої Британії,  фотографії та відеоматеріал з видами визначних місць Лондона, відеоролик «Розвід моста в Лондоні”,роздатковий матеріал із завданнями.

T:Today we are going to learn some interesting places in one of thee British cities.What city is it?In order to know the name of this city we must do such activities:

    1.Complete the sentences:

1.I always help my mother to    lay  the table on my birthday party.

2.The flowers are on the window – sills.

3.What nationality are you ?- I am Ukrainian.

4.Do you speak Ukrainian? –Yes,I do.

5.October is the second autumn month.

6.November is the third autumn month.

   2.Solve crossword by using omitted words:

Now, appoint a spokesperson of your group to read your best sentences.(Pupils read their sentences.)

Who would not wish to visit the old capital London with gates and towers reflected in the Thames. I'm sure that everyone's heart will beat faster with the hope of visiting London. Speaking about London we can't mention about Great Britain.

Let's recollect our knowledge about GB. Well, now look at the blackboard, please. This mind-map and a map of GB will help you to tell about this island.

T: As you know, there are a lot of places of interest in London. Let’ s travel around the city and remember some of them. (перегляд відеоматеріалу)

Example:
