Elizabeth II is the Queen of the country from 1952. She is the longest-reigning monarch in British history. Elizabeth is known to take a serious interest in government business aside from the traditional duties. During her ruling there were World War II, the Korean War, Brexit crisis and in spite of all that she got her country out of some difficult situations. She founded the Commonwealth Games to promote corporation among 53 nations using the power of sport. From the 1950s up to the 1990s the Queen helped many of the countries of Commonwealth in gaining independence or autonomy. Elizabeth II is the symbol of the UK.
